    While not one I’ve taken(for obvious reasons) this is one of my favorite phots. Dr. Roger Christgau(in red) and me in front of his 9th Air Force combat veteran Mustang 44-63675/NL1751D at Eau Claire, Wisconsin in Sept 2002.

    If you count indivdual models, the P-63F has to be near the top of the list. With only 2 built, one flies with the CAF, and the other is currently a project plane up for sale.

    My top pick definately has to be Pat Harker’s P-82E. When I got a chance to talk to Pat back in 2002 he figured it was about five years till first flight.
