I Dont think Afghanistan is as rosy as they show it in US Media. When the US withdraws the Afghan government will fall. But the US withdrawl may never happen. So it depends on pakistan as how stable Afghanistan seems to it. If afghanistan seems too unstable then dont give the Fighters back, even if they are in least flying condition. if they are atleast take out. Some warlord will just sling some old dumb bombs and use them to bomb his rival

A-10 can be used only against countries like Iraq, against trooops who are running back. Infact A-10 got the most of its hits when Iraqi troops were going back from Kuwait and that too about 200000 soldiers and equipment were moving on a single. I dont remember the road, that is when 1,25000 soldiers were killed. Already all thier SAM’s were taken by F-117 anf Wild Weasel F-16. ONly then were the A-10 able to eneter the action. They were not used against Yugoslavia or an other country after that.

The missile on the Mirage is not a Matra 530. It is either a ARMAT or a exocet.

If the Iraq war continues the same way it is going on right now for 2 or 3 more years then i would forget the F-22 , let alone Fb-22. F-16 and A-10 will be used in bombing insurgent positions( 4 rag tag guys holding AK-47 and RPG-7 ) as they dont want Iraq to develop and follow the democratic principles set by Bush and america will spend itsmoney in establishing a Democracy in Middle East. We Should have tried that first in Saudi Arabia.

our Allies in Middle east and pakistan will help us fight against terrorists and our flags will be burnt in the streets of our so called Allies. They will laugh and dance when something wrong happens to us but love our F-16’s and would beg us for money and fighters. What are we doing with our Nukes. We should find some use for them and spend a few of them. I think that is the cheapest option.

i have some serious doubts about stealth of any ship. How can ships with such huge Radars remain stealth or invisible. they may show up as a small target on a radar plot.But with the huge radar working any body with radar detecting equipment can detect a stealth ship. cant these ships be detected with thier radar signatures. I think in a few years every country will start developing instruments to target these stealth ships.
I really hate these stealthy ships. They are just plain boring. they look like so ***. i would prefer to see USS OHIO anytime than a modern Littoral combat ship. stealthy ships, Pilot less planes what is the world coming to. I hope the world comes to an end before it really happens(just kidding)

SO I HAVE A BIG QUESTION
after this huge discussion which is the best Anti-ship missile NSM or any other missile. I did not understand one thing why is NSM so great. There are several other AShms with similar capabilities already developed or under development. I have one big problem with european weapons and especially those supporting them. They make too much of them and speak tons about them, like the Harrier or the eurofighter. The other day i was speaking to a guy and we were arguing about Eurofighter and Su-30 and he says Eurofighter HMS and ASRAAM. that guy did not even understand that Russian invented HMS. He was saying that in some aspects Eurofighter was better than F-22 and then i left the argument.

I second you. The F-15 and F-14 have much so much life in them. The pakistanis and many countries will happpily buy them. PAF will look nice if they replace all second hand Mirage-iii with F-15 and F-14

Nothing will change much.

1) China and INdia will continue growing.
2) America will probably see more Defence cuts. FB-22 wont make it. F-22 will make it but in much smaller numbers.
3) Gripen will be a export hit.
4) China and India will both concentrate on Increasing Naval Power. Pakistan will still be haunted by F-16.
5) Israel will strike on iranian reactors. Iran will probably react. I cant guess anything after that as i cant say what will happen after that. American wont strike at Iran or North Korea as simply cant do anything. It has no more land forces left to do conduct a land based war. It may lauch some Airstrikes or Missile strike on Iran. but not North Korea. Because it cant take chances against NK.
6) growing seperation between US and the Europe and probably the whole World. Iraq will continue to Boil. UK will remain loyal to US.
7) India and China will concentrate on increasing thier Naval Powers.
8) Everybody should remember that the export quotas expire on Jan1. Previously Poor countries were afraid of Dumping. Now America and Some European countries who dont retain any market niches will tremble. This may trigger trade wars. Private armies will raise for MNC’s which already exist and they will start controlling Economies. ANybody remember 16th and 17th century companies which conquered huge parts of Asia.
