The loads on LCY are not amazing, however I reckon the yield is pretty good. When I flew it they were offering a business class product to everyone, and there were definitly over 50% of pax who had paid full business fare as they were standing next to me in the business class check in queue.

The A300s are all gone now I think, its just A340 and 737s. Over the last 3 days I have been at LHR all flights bar one I have seen were with the A340. Turkish also us the 340 alot to Istanbul.

Haha superb! It actualy isn’t A330Crazy standing with me as he had to go and help his Mum do something (I think?) but one of my mates from college who came up with me 😀

There are two blobs to the far left, then moving to the right someone standing forward. If you look behind that person you can see two more blobs, and I think thats me and Richard 😉

Superb shots Dan, only just had time to read through everything this evening 🙂

Re the Fokkers, I agree with Elgan, they were retired late last year, and yours is the first report of any of them moving, this photo seems to confirm it:

Not entirely sure what you saw, maybe some being moved from the airports to the storage facilities?

Cheers Kaplan, it took us rather by surprise. Incidentally the lunchtime service was an IL96 as well which is rare.
