Thats because Aer Lingus do, and BA codeshare with them through OneWorld, at least for the time being. BA offer their own services from LGW.

The current market leader for commercial aviation is Flight Simulator 2004. To get a realistic set of airlines operating into MAN takes a little more work, either by purchasing a ready made add-on, or taking the DIY option and using the freeware stuff on the net.

It looks like the managers at Star said to all the airlines: “Right, whoever can get the alliance name, and the airline name onto the plane using the least amount of paint wins a mystery prize”

Its the proverbial pot calling the kettle black. I don’t quite see how either side are going to gain anything out of it. They are either both going to get penalised by the WTO, or neither of them will. Any different outcome would cause even more uproar!

I think most airlines put a large amount of their fleet in storage after 9/11. There are now no Northwest A320s in storage.

Well done Matt, I can honestly say its nice having you with us again 🙂

@ Other Matt: I too don’t quite see how necessary it is to say “look at me I have 1000 posts” but it has kind of developed into a forum tradition now, everyone does it, and I don’t see any real reason why it should not continue 😉
