    Surprised you got a hot breakfast with BA, I thought BA and bmi (note, lower case now Matt 😉 )had dropped them for the summer. I have not had a hot breakfast with BA since last November.

    Its called competition danairboy, other airlines can operate in Europe without making horrific losses, if AZ or OA can’t, then they should not be operating in their present, inefficient state. A good dose of what happened to Swiss or Sabena will be good for the Italians. Maybe an efficient carrier, that serves the country well is what they need, like SN and to a certain extent SWISS.

    I think I’d agree with MANAIRPORTMAD actualy, the 757s and 767s are operated by Air Atlanta, whereas the 737s are operated by Excel. As far as I am aware the problems largely lie with the Air Atlanta aircraft rather than the Excel ones.

    They couldn’t fly BOAA and BOAB because they did not have valid Certificates of Airworthiness. They had not been modified since the paris crash, and had been mothballed ever since.
