All the 717s will leave Qantaslink for Jetstar or Boeing. I assume the rest of the Qantaslink airlines and aircraft are still flying as per pre Jetstar?

The steep glideslope is due to the abnormal numbers of skyscrapers in the vicinity of the airport, including Canary Wharf

I think SOU might work quite nicely as it is an untapped area from down this side of London.

Qantas already codeshare on the majority of BAs LHR-MAN flights.
However Qantas acquired the old FlyBe slots from Heathrow, but due to late regulatory approval they have been unable to operate an Oz route from LHR with these slots.
Instead of letting the slots go unused for a whole season they have employed Flightline to fly a 146 between LHR and MAN to bring passengers down for connecting flights. Whilst hugely inefficient in itself, it is more efficient than not using the slots at all, which is why it is in operation for the Summer 2 season, starting next month I believe.

Yeah well done FlyBe, although when a flight of mine was cancelled they took the line that most people take now “Sorry, its completely unrefundable”.
I suppose its just the person you get to talk to and the mood that person is in at that time.
