I collect the BA plastic ones that they sell on board the aircraft, and I notice that Starjets produce a BA A319 as well.
How much better are they than the standard Wooster ones?

Looks very interesting, and I should be flying with them over the summer to Cardiff or Swansea from City (My Grandparents live near there)
I’m not very impressed with the website though. No fare information, and no online booking available.

Good to see I’m not alone in my hobby then!
I have been with BA Virtual, flying routes out of the UK for over a year now, and have about 320 hours notched up.
I also fly on VATSIM, and have an excellent PC (2.5ghz P4, 512mb RAM 80gb hard drive etc.!) and can run some superb addons, pretty much problem free. I would recomend, if you are going to buy it, the VFR photograhpic scenery, the PSS A320, and http://www.avsim.com , a superb website with everything you could possibly need on it.
As has been said earlier you can pick FS2002 up for quite good prices at the moment, but try http://www.ebay.co.uk I bought my copy for £25 last summer, so the prices there now should be superb.

As far as I am aware it’s just BA flights routing via Cyprus.
I saw the 757 at LPL on Monday. It landed against the flow of traffic, and taxiied to an apron to the edge (West I think, but it was my first visit there) of the airport, and was being unloaded with a very large amount of security surrounding it.
Not quite sure of the reasons for the stripped titles though?

I presume it was because of it’s proximity to the city, anyone could just turn up and fly a plane into a building.
But if that attitude was adopted everywhere there would be no airports left!
Very misguided thinking by the mayor in my opinion.

There are still one or two left I think, and some are in a horrible “Interim” fit type of a livery. JMC tailfin, and engines, but a horrible rusty coloured shell. Looks horrible!

Yes, there is a hill at the end of the runway that all the spotters watch from. Approx. 100 metres from the threshold!
    Very sore on the ears!

This looks like a good post to start off on!
I live in Fleet, Hampshire, which is 1 mile from Farnborough (Hardly a BIG airport until every other summer – Eurofighter at 500ft over the house, interesting!)
My nearest big airport is Heathrow, we get the Ockham arrivals and Compton departures over us. We also get some Gatwick and Stansted arrivals too.
Couple that with Blackbushe and Odiham nearby (Although strangely quiet at the moment!) I get a very good view from my garden of all types of aviation, and I am spoilt for choice for weekend visits!
