I believe what Manu is saying, and I think I am inclined to agree with, is that politics plays a more important part in deciding on an aircraft than exactly how well it fits the airlines needs. Also the differences between the A330/A350 and 787 are nowhere near as great as the differences between Boeing and Airbus products over a decade ago.

Worked for me 30 minutes ago, but not any more. Last night Dan (wannabe pilot) said there were some problems with the screening queue system, so I guess they’ve taken it down to fix that.

You dont seem to be able to anymore on the airbus site, however the BBC will be showing it on their site, and there is a video feed on the front page of news.bbc.co.uk

Its currently stating 45 minutes to go, so maybe my source was a little over excited 😀

When I was in FRA our guide said that you could get a train between the two airports for about 30 euro. 150 seems way OTT. Im sure when our Dusseldorf friend comes online he will clarify things, as I cant find anything here in English…

Cracking shots mate absolutely superb. The settings still arent exactly spot on, but its a huge improvement from the last lot we saw! 🙂
