    Hi Crofty
I know it has been a while since this post, but do you still have the Turner Inflation Kit and would you like to sell it?

Yes, it is a CAC Sabre we are restoring, A94-983. We are trying to find a better seat than the NAA seat. Martin Baker is a better wat to go.
The 12 or 13 CAC Sabres that the Indo’s got now belong to K Weeks along with the spares and are all stored in the desert.
MB themselves do not have a seat we can use, happy to supply the parts to overhaul the seat, but we need to come up with a seat.
    Please keep looking for me.

You are correct,CAC Sabres had NAA seats, pyro is unavailable. Next best would be a MB seat, at least MB will support it. Idealy a Mk10 seat from a Honduran F86 would be the ultimate. Zero zero and thru canopy. Some one knows someone that can help. Please let me know.

The Temora Aviation Museum is setting up to be able to repair and overhaul, if nessesary, all turbine engines they operate. This includes Avons and Goblins. The museum has already put two fresh RR Derwents into service in their F8 Meteor. The Museum is currently putting the finishing touches on their engine test cell which will be capable of testing engines up to 10,000lbs of thrust. The first engine to be tested will be the RR Avon Mk26 going into the CA27 Sabre that is nearing completion.

From Kennett’s friends on the other side of the world.
Temora Aviation Museum Inc. would like to congratulate Tim, Pete and all the boys at Kennett on the first flight of the Seafire and on such a historic day for that aircraft. Well done.
