Moondance – you should take your 300D with you more often 😉 Some nice pics!

Yes I should, but then for ever day with a photo opportunity like this, there are about ten when you see little of interest.

Only down side is it’s a bit too big of a set-up to have in the flight deck. I’ve had some great air-to-air oppportunities recently but a compact cannot do justice to

Too true…..I’ve taken my new 300D to work a couple of times, and excellent though the pictures are, its really just too large to lug around every day (even in a large flightdeck) and the results from my fag packet sized Minolta are still pretty good.

Better than it did on the 757! Much smoooother 😀

Must be good then, as the 757/767 autobrake seems very smooooth compared with the 732/733 autobrake, which was dreadful….it stopped the jet well enough, but no finesse!

Imagine someone is waving a gun at your family and 400 hundred others etc.

Imagine the SLF attempting to ‘storm’ the flightdeck of a perfectly serviceable aeroplane, with the fuel vent/surge system functioning exactly as it is meant to. What are the crew to think….in the unlikely event that a Sky Marshall is onboard, what would they think or do?
Difficult situation I know, but the SLF are usually spectacularly ignorant of the technical aspects of avaition.

I suppose Chuck and Dobbin’s nuptials in Windsor could affect runway useage on Saturday.
