There’s just one thing missing – undershoot zero!
Very true, but any form of runway over-run would probably be highly survivable as the machine (and contents) would end up in shallow water – a greater chance of drowning than asphyxiation.
Now if you want to talk about potentially exciting over-runs, no need to look further than the UK…..14 at LBA, 27 at BRS, 26 at LTN (down the hill into Vauxhalls!)

Scrap them why?.Dont be stupid.Even if you hate Ryanair this isnt really a Ryanair matter its the fact that the 200s some of the last claasic airliners will soon be gone.
Nothing to do with Ryanair, they are ancient technology – high time, high cycle (remember the 737 cabriolet in Hawaii?), noisy, gas guzzling dinosaurs (and an absolute pain to fly compared to modern equipment). They are obsolete lumps of tin, nothing more – drag them off to the scrapyard!
Look at the state of this one…

Another urban (or aviation) myth debunked then!
Can’t possibly compete with the cornfield shot, but the HB contingent at Greenham Common, 1974.
That hangar is earmarked for demolition I gather, to further enhance the airport’s expansion and remote parking stand project
Shame…one of the few links left with Abbotsinch (and indeed closely linked with Loganair)……what is the post-Loganair history of the hangar? I am told that Manx/BRAL owned/leased it at one stage (although that whole Manx and post-Manx stuff is a bit of a mystery to me!)
