I think the length of the show is just perfect. Too many shows lack pace and are punctuated with large gaps in the sky, leading ultimately, to boredom. The same cannot be said of Legends, a superbly paced and executed show.
Also, bear in mind that many in the audience are not enthusiasts, so three hours of non-stop action is just about right.
If Legends were any other airshow, you would probably see exactly the same show, padded out to five hours.
Change nothing, still the best organised and run airshow in Europe!

That “pole” is the operating handle for the Co-pilots window. Pull it out and toward you and the window pops open.
Notice just below it the track the window slides along
The ‘pole’ unlocks the window (depress the button on the top, and rotate the lever rearwards). The mystery object is the ‘crank’ that actually opens the window.

is there any kind of incident report on that. would love to read into this
Probably not the correct answer on this forum, but the Beech 1900D – wait, it is the correct answer, because its based on the Queenair/Kingair line, which must count as vintage designs by now.
But look at this thing, winglets, tailets, huge strakes, some other things stuck on the rear fuselage, looks an aerodynamic nightmare!
Question for Airbedane. I was always curious about the decision to ground the Comet on the closure of Hatfield. I would have thought that Duxford would have been the ideal interim base.
At the time, I seem to remember the Collection saying that Duxford was too short for the Comet , yet surely even the lengthened runway at OW is still going to be shorter than Duxford? Just curious.
A picture (taken through glass) which I have never seen before, showing the extent of SP when recovered from Portugal
And again
G-ACSP at Derby this afternoon.

wonderful, many thanks for that, but too far for me to go to!
No water to land nearby?
Several reservoirs within about 10 miles, not sure if Severn-Trent would be too impressed at the prospect though.
She’s at Derby Aerodrome (Egginton) – open to the public tomorrow 2-4pm http://www.blackmagic.abelgratis.com/

Moondance – just flew to ABZ and bck today – what a nightmare! The snow has been causing havoc, plus the glideslope failed when the airport re-opened. Most diverted to EDI but we were fortunate and got in on the Localizer/DME as the vis improved just at the right time. Hope you don’t have to travel back this weekend! I’m on the early ABZ again tomorrow morning too! Hope the snow lays off!
I’m on days off at the moment, missing the chaos is good! In fact even went into Leeds this week with the wind DOWN the runway, so the Met gods have been exceedingly kind.
Centre of gravity problem, I should imagine.
I remember an album (or maybe even a band – Ren??) called Plummet Airlines – always fancied that as a name.
