I get one every week off Capital 1 and I’m not even in Europe 🙁

If I can be arsed I sometimes sit down, take all the junk mail, put it in each other’s envelopes and pass it back to them, so Capital 1 get AOL junk and so on. Then they all pay postage.

Is it just me, or are the only real marks on that bird the ones from the airbridges?

Unf. the 777s are not noisy enough for my liking!!! They are pretty quiet inside and out – I have done a few jump seat rides in them as well as pax rides, and they arev quiet from the inside!

With you there – I don’t think I’ve ridden a quieter widebody except maybe an A340.

What else is better than a widebody throttling up before takeoff? Not much!! 🙂

    Sex? Football?

The range seems pretty low on those. After factoring in required fuel for real world alternates and weather planning the basic RRJ would be looking at a little over 1300 nm useful range. That isn’t that much for the size.

Nor for the distances experiencved in the CIS

IMHO this is the best exhibit yet for the viewing park, even including that supersonic contraption.

    1. bmi, Gulf Air, Aeroflot (all new versions)
    2. Virgin Blue
    3. bmi, Gulf Air, Aeroflot, Virgin Blue (cows are conservative animals that don’t like change, and they much prefer more subdued liveries, preferably on a 777)
    4. KLM (time to paint them all in that lovely Air France white 😉 )
    5. American, Lufthansa
    6. United 🙁
