Yes, Air Europa has schedules services and flies inside Spain but also to some European cities (Paris, London…) and they even have some Latin American scheduled destinations.
So none of them really enters in conflict with any Skyteam member.
And I think they also code-share with Continental to New York so if the latter is also joining Skyteam, it makes even more sense 🙂
horses in a plane! wont they die?
A few months ago, we had a cargo charter flight from Lufthansa which stopped at MAD carrying only horses for an event in South America.
Lufthansa even has a special ULD to carry horses, although I believe other big airlines have them.
Top Gear shows are realtively easy to find on the net 😀
Best: Kastrup
Worse: Heathrow
I saw it at MAD a couple of months ago.
Wonder was it was at the time. Thanks for the info.

Personnaly I’ve flown a few times long haul with both and
prefer AF.
I don’t why but I get the feeling AF seat pitch is bigger (in eco)
than LH.
Can somebody confirm this ? Please.
Anyway I think both are good choices.

Thks for the info guys…
Still haven’t seen the “Cubana” 330.
And I find it is really disgraceful when a company decides to
make money expatriating people.
It seems some of us don’t remember we were in that situation
not so long ago…

Hi Keltic
I’m working 15 hours a day lately I can’t follow the news.
What I heard, please correct if I’m wrong, is that the Spanish
govt spent a bit too much on these 310. My fav airplane is the
300 so I think it’s a good choice but it is said they could have
bought a smaller Airbus but new for less.
Have you heard anything similar.
I haven’t seen the 330 used by Cubana. Who does it belong
to?
And do you know anything about an ex-Delta 727?
It has been parked for weeks at MAD. Its new reg is EC-IMY
and they’ve just painted the red parts blue (and taken off
the Delta titles of course).
Don’t know if it’s private or no…

Hi Keltic, sorry for not replying before but I’ve been quite busy.
Things in my company are going crazy…
I don’t know what Iberline 340 you’re talking about. Is it a
new company ?
I haven’t been on the tarmac for quite a few weeks now.
But I’ve seen the Pullmantur 747 today for the first time.
Very nice bird.
And about the Air Force A310, do you think you should talk
about the price paid in this forum or would it give a bad image
of Spain…. 😀
Hi Kabir,
You said that KLM withdrew their services to Delhi but I recently
read in another forum that they are still flying to Delhi.
Is that correct ?
They even said that the 777 would be used to Delhi.
Yago
Yes, Crossair called the Avro Jumbolino and the Saab Concordino.
Sounds a bit daft if you ask me.
Yago
I think I read in an internal LH magazine that LH had bought part of Thomas Cook.
Can anybody confirm or deny this?
Thks
Yago
Have you tried Lufthansa?
It’s the company I use the most to go to Delhi.
The best I tried on that route was SAS but unfortunately they stopped it.
I’ll never understand why there are no more companies flying from Europe to New Delhi when there is such demand.
What are the other options apart from BA?
Virgin? Austrian? and…

The tracksuit is to not distract the flight crew…

I live 15 miles from MAD where I work.
With the building of the new terminal I’m afraid we won’t see the promessed new airport for a long time…
