The T-50? Yes, I’m sure such an airplane would be very useful for them as they are right now… But can they afford it? :dev2:

I would say that he was teasing Kapedani on this one.

    @ Kapedani,

in the previous thread djcross opposed you but you are still pushing your own point of view which you are trying to present as an universal truth.

Are you more competent than he is in this field?

Are you an engineer or a scientist working in the aviation industry?

    An aviation journo perhaps?

We are all lacking solid info and hard data on this plane and you are trying to judge it after several pics and videos have been released

From what I could conclude I would say that you don’t really like what the Russians have achieved and you are trying to downplay that any way you can. I bet you could do much better than this. Or can you really:confused:

    Beauty(ies) and the beast

It must have some nice looking rims when all those chicks are around:D

Anyway, this bird looks really ugly, especially when seen from this angle…

Shouldn’t this thread had been closed by now, I mean it exceeded the limit of 20 pages  or the CoC has been changed in the meantime?

Like I said, it was maid for the su25 frogfoot, it had electric heating, light inside, but cant remeber if it was presuried.
Supposedly, they only tested it, but never put it in real use 🙂

Oops, correct, I didn’t read entire topic 😮 Thanks for the explanation.

And that makes it OK does it? You shoot at the cat’s leg and it runs off – looking fine. But supposing you’ve managed to nick something that’s vital? An artery or a nerve? Live with yourself then, could you?

As I told you I felt guilty. Very guilty. And I think that I would still feel the same way if I didn’t see the same cat running through the neighborhood without any physical problem. I guess he was lucky… so was I…

I’d propose something that doesn’t have the potential to maim, personally.

Moggy has suggested the easiest/cheapest/least harmful option thus far.

I tried with the water hose but he’d be coming after some time.

Try that on mine, and you’d find out how painful that .22 really is…

OK, Mr. Arrogant, what do you propose then?

As I said, I could have easily used something else (weapons or a poison) that would definitely killed the cat, but that was not my intent. I am doing the IPSC and have been training shooting since I was 12 so I know how to aim properly (didn’t aim at a head or stomach, but rear legs).

And the .22 doesn’t impress me that much…

old shape, if you don’t figure out something better, buy a dog 😀

    A .22 LR.

I wouldn’t be that cruel. But an air rifle should definitely solve the problem. I had the same issue with cats as old shape has and there was no other way to get rid of them. I would hit them with a stick or whatever I would find at that very moment. But they would always come back making small mess. It may sound weird but they simply loved to poo around flowers (damaging some of them while digging holes).

One day I took the air rifle and hit the sucker in the back of his sit. After I hit him, I felt guilty and was thinking that I hurt him badly but he managed to ran away. He’s alive and fine, intruding neighboring gardens but since then I’ve never seen him visiting my.

I wouldn’t write off The Prestige – it’s an interesting film with a brilliant ending.

I absolutely agree on this. It is a fine movie.

The last film I saw was The Blind Side. And I would recommend it to everyone.

I love movies based on true stories.

And I started falling in love with Sandra Bullock… again 🙂

Well let me guess. The Saudis turning hostile after some revolution of some kind. With them having Eagles and Typhoons F 22 may well be needed to limit causalities.

    😀

If we were planning on attacking Iran. Unless you can think of a more likely reason for training in the Middle East with F-22s?

F-15s et al. would do just fine against Iranians. Last time I checked the S-300 was still far away from Tehran and I don’t think it will be coming anytime soon. Neither the “stealthy” Shafaq seems that dangerous. Hence, no need of disposing such a highly valuable asset.

True. At the same time I can only think of one scenario that would warrant F-22s being needed for real in the Middle East.

    And that would be?
