    OK!
Accuracy of Missile Guidance Systems depend on many factors including countermeasures. What kind of guidance methot you are intending to use.

Probably an INS mid course stage with an Active Radar Terminal stage. Also open to Optical Guidance Terminal Stage with feedback to platform for enhanced ROE.

It’s a group project, with members looking at different areas. I’m primarily concerned with guidance. The system will be placed on a passive platform, so a beam rider is ruled out straight away. We’re thinking of using a two stage guidance system at least.
Performance wise we’re looking at a missile that can handle 30G and a range upto 90 miles. Our recommendations will probably be a modular design that can be constructed for different targets.
A warhead similar to that used by the LOCAAS might be the answer to a range of targets. The best way to attack a ship is down through the funnel, so we’re not thinking of punching through a ships side.
Ideally the missile should also be capable of being launched from a helo.

Looking at a weapon system for a Future Frigate for the Royal Navy around 2030. Common missile would mean half the research, procurement and through life costs and unfortunately everything comes down to money!
