then by all means, let the US stop giving contracts to American companies and let other countries who have a comparative advantage win those contracts. me thinks that the Chinese for example would offer a cheaper price to rebuild all those power plants, rebuild all those pipes etc…

The Chinese have done the same in Iran!
India too was very active in business deals in Iraq pre war and had many contracts.

India is a big country with a much bigger economy than Pakistan, hence it can buy more long range weapons vs China ala Su-30, Agnis etc and shor ranges acs like the mirage 2000s for Pakistan. Pakistan on the other hand does not have the budget and as per economic logic would be better off investing in dfensive assets. a Patriot system is much more effective for Paistan vs Indian acs rather than sending 20 F-16s vs the numerically superior IAF. Its plain logic really, for offense you have those ballistic missiles, Pakistan can actually create a dense SAM corridor in the eastern sector, maing any IAF incrsion costly to say the least and besides the IAf is moving towards long range missile attacks now, your F-16s won’t be that effective against those, Patriots will, plus FC-1s for defence, that is the optimal option for Pakistan.

p.s Israel is facing a disorganized Arab world, Israel gets Uncle funding to the exponential, don’t compare the Indian millitary to the Arab millitaries of the previous wars lol.

If I were the General, I would ask for Patriots and the like, its a defensive system while the F-16 is an offensive system, Pakistan needs a high alt SAM protecting Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawapindi against the future cruise missiles like the Bhramos land varient tha is being developped.

Holy cow the SA-11/17 is a huge set of systems, no way Al Queda could even afford such a system, if they are able to get one and are able to use it in Iraq, I think that we better just let them win.

The problem with selling high tech weapons to Pakistan is obviously China, there have even been rumours about the Chinese getting a first hand look at the new Agostas, but then again t depends what F-16 we are talking about, if the US feels that an older blck F-16 should not help China too much, then why not sell for a few billion dollars, this is what Uncle Sam is aout at the end of the day, however this F-16 story does not seem to want to end, I cannot see why Pakistan would want it if they claim that the FC-1 is a comparable fighter, who would buy two light fighters?
Better go for a small batch of EF-2000s, say 30 and wait for the J-10 in the future.

This would thus still mean that the F-22 could shoot down the interceptors with BVR since the ground radar cannot have enough accurace for BVR launch

Although the Saudi economy is not too good and poverty is on the rise, the millitary budget has not suffered, hence, although the Saudis are not the big spenders they used to be, they can still maintain their acs. Te millitary is the last to have fund cuts in most countries during an economic slump, Saudi Arabia is no exception, remember also the large amount of foreigners who maintain these acs as well, these guys have to be paid.

Don’t worry about PLA Matt, he is a pro at flaming, who even mentioned that the J-10 is PS or not?
he had to bring in India, the Arjun is in production, The Bison is a MiG-21 upgrade (you remember that PLA, the Agni etc are all in production and the LCA is doing fine, why he has to mention Indian products and India on his own J-10 thread, only a flamer like him can tell you, the best part is his end, I love India, I married one blablabla, we should work together blabalablalb, a pathetic attempt at covering a flamer like himself.:D )

lol, I know, I am a flamer for posting an AFM paragraph, as you wish, you can pm me and proove to me where I have insulted people unless they have started it first, please do so, not on this thread, it will ruin another thread for nothing, or else do not make dumb claims about who flames, you can only believe that AFm made a mistake, until they come out and say that they did, you can’t make such a statement, if this was the PAF shooting down 3 IAf planes, lol, how different your attitude would have been 😀

You are too young to use such words as orgasming but yes, actually all I want is the AFm source, I am not orgasming, I simply posted the link and if you look at what I was saying in the other thread right after I posted it, u would notice that I was not believing it either when it came to the 3 shot down claims, however AFm is a good source and the PAF fAns of the world have none right now except for mythical PAf is equal to 10 IAF acs. blalablabab

As for the MiG-23MLD incident, that is why I posted this here, it happened in 88 and I do believe AFM has had enough time to confirm this kill claim!
