What anti pakistan propaganda?
Is the World Bank owned by India too now?
Was I the one who brought up the IAF on this thread?
Was I who took a swipe at Russians?
So you guys have the right to say that what the Russians are doing is dispicable but what you did in the past is pro[aganda, ok, sure whatever, just stop bringing India up on threads that hav nothing to do with it, I know that you guys love India a lot, why else bring it up all the time , please, stick to topic.
show me examples
and btw who mentioned the IAF on the Afgan thread with a Russian perspective 😀
and PLA’s latest flame, more anti India garbage on the Pakistan gae sensitive info on China thread, again the webbie has been notified. :D:D 😀
I doubt that Taiwan would risk a pre emptive strike, its not like those Chinese spies andradars are worthless anyway. In any event Taiwan has a limited number of acs that will be better suited in defending the mainland, and China does have its best fighters stationed across the strait. The Chinese are not Iraqi millitary me who will just sit and watch their planes get blown apart, the Chinese can fight back, there is no way in hell Taiwan could destroy 400 missiles, missile hunting is very tough business especially when you do not even have air superiority in a region anyway.
Wow the Russian perspective of the Afgan war remains India centric, are these the same CIA people who said that Iraq had
WMDs? 😀
In any event, true or not, India has a NFU and hence all this does not matter much.
The onl retared part of the article was the mention of Pakistan having the air advantage. I am sure that the Mirage 2000s! and the Su-30s, the Jaguars etc are no match for Mirage Vs and F-16As
😀
Me thinks its more likely the usual US Gov trying to alianate the Pak establishment and scare the American people into thinking that Pakistan is the next enemy number one. Soon we will hear that pakistnais eat Americans for breakfast and then before we know it there will be war.
Oh ya you guys can keep on believe the nuke story though 😀
India only has 10 nukes, actually only 5 since we tested 5 in 98
I have alerted the webbie to close this Russian perspective on the Afgan war thread, a few Pakistani lads do not seem to understand such basic things as thread titles while critisizing my grammatics 😀
p.s please forgive me my first language is hindi and french, i did not know that certain people were reduced to such a level as to get all personal :D:D
I wonder why Pakistnais love bringing India up in every conversation they have, its sickening really, see the first page for details, about the PAf and then a swipe at India lol, how pathetic a bunch, as far as the Chechen comments, I can only say that Russia has yet to learn about how the Pakistani army handled its internal affairs a la Bangaldesh of 1971.
It is even more sickening to see them talk about nukes as if they were toys, words like we have 3x your nukes, so haha, you moron kids, go back to school and believe that, who really cares, we have a NFU policy anyway, have 10x our nukes, is it any wonder why while our poverty level has gone down by 10% to 24%, yours has gone up to 37% as per the World Bank, I wil never understand why a Russian perspective on the Afgan war becomes so India centric, I hope that all memebrs see this and realize what a bunch of fools we have on this board.
When it comes to casualties, I believe that the Russians lost tousands of men, however as far as having lost the war, heck no, they controlled the main centres of the country, the guerillas were restricted to the mountains, Kabul, Kandhahar etc were never in any danger of falling. The same thing works in Iraq, the US may be loosing men everyday but they are in no danger of loosing the war, the reason why the Soviets left was because their system was inferior to that of the west and the economic gap btw the west and the USSR was widening and the people
were unhappy, the state broke apart, Glosnoss had failed. nothing to do with the loss of Afganistan, lol, you guys should get a book!
As for the Indians in Mid East comment, I do ot wish to bring up UAe stats on an aviation forum for you morons, just live in your propaganda.
And may I ask for how long the Koreans will need to buy overpriced 4th gen American acs because of the Korean war?
I wonder if it was not for communists, would those nice Americans have even bothered to help their Korean friends. The KOrean Government said that the competition was fair, p.s the Rafale won that competition! Judging from the great F-15 supporters around here, you guys should have told Boeing not to even bother with the F-15K webpage, a bunch of pics from the Korean war would have been enough. I guess that the Brits should buy F-15s too ebcause the Americans helped them in WW2. In fact from this logic, why even bother having a compettion, why just not tell the poor Koreans that you have to buy this or that! The funniest part is that people seem to be either ignorant or in complete denial about the fact, let me say this again, fact , that there was trumendous American pressure for the deal and that if it wasn’t for such harsh polotical pressure, the Rafale would have been selected. And as for the F-15 being the only proven fighter, well I think that the French should attack Congo tomorrow and then Angola etc, I bet you that the Rafale BVR record will be amazing as well.
Je ne savais pas que le Rafale F1 pouvais utiliser des bombes laser?
I always thought that the Tranche1 was strictly A2A.
PLA you are going through some tough times these days, I do not know f its business not going so well or family problems but I’ll just let you pass, take care of yourself.
However the Soviets did suffer from many losses due to Gorilla warfare, also the troops that were sent to Afganistan were young conscripts mostly from the Southern states of the Republic. The Russian navy of today is suffering but retarded comments such as “they are sinking at the bottom of the ocean”, I do not know if its an allusion of the Kurks, if it is, its a pathetic uneducated attempt at making fun of dead men. The Russian Navy is not sinking, people who actually know what they are talking about know better that this, aparently al PLA wants to do is to flame, btw those IAF MiG-21s have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE AFGAN WAR, LOL, I AM BEGINING TO WONDER ABOUT YOU.
Groo, PLA is not Chinese. The USSR occupied Afganistan within 48 hours, the problem was that the Soviet Union was collapsing and they had to leave, it was not because they were in danger of losing Afganistan lol, any moron who thinks that should head to their local library right now and stop spewing such garbage.
And wait for the poor Koreans to get a huge weapons bill as well.
A Su-30MKi costs about 40-45M
The Rafale costs about 70M
The Rafale is a brand new ac
The F-15K costs btw 70-80M!
The F-22 is supposed to cost upwards of about 100M and that is a 5th gen fighter!
No one should doubt that Dassault would deliver a multirole ac with full weather capability by 2008 to the Koreans no political strings attached.
I always thought that the MiG-35 was a MiG-29M with thrust vectored engines?
And yes the F-22 only has 8 internal hardpoints but that is for A2A missiles only me thinks. A typical A2A loadout would be 6 Amrams and 2 sidewinders in the internal bay and the plane would still be a stealth machine, wow.
The Rafale is no F-22 but it is ahead of the F-15 in design. And Sauron, no 40 “30 year old designed Su-27s” would cost 3.2B, heck India paid 1.6B for 40 Su-30Ks. even if you minus set up costs. training facilities, personel etc, these F-15s will cost about 70M a peace! If some one tells me that this is not a bit pricy then what the heck is?
Sure, the Rafale of the competition was not multirole but the Rafale that would have entered service would have been Tranche 3 which is fully multirole. Dassault is a good and well respected aviation company and will not make fake promises, if the contract says that the Rafale will be multirole, then it will be, there is no doubt about this and the Koreans knew this as well, the Koreans organized a competiion and the Rafale was the winner of that competiion, had the Koreans wanted an American ac for ease of commonality, they would not have had the competition in the first place. Besides it is a known fact that th Korean Gov was under heavy American pressure, if it was not for that, the winner of the competition, namely the French, would have won the contract. American political pressure was the primary reason why the Koreans selected the f-15K and not because it was superior to the Rafale. 3.2B for 40 airplanes, that is insane even if you deduct set up costs, I wonder if this bill even includes those weapons that members are pointing at!
;
Sauron, ah come on mate, the competition saw the rafale win it! The F-15K won simply because of politics and these planes are bloody overpriced, btw no Sukhoi 27 would fetch that kind of price in the first place. As far as the Korean war comment, just because America helped the Koreans in the past, mind you, they also helped because they were scared that communism was going to spread around Asia, not because of the dictators themselves! In any event it does not mean that Korea has to buy inferior planes forever. The Rafale Tranche 3 should be available by 2008-10 as well.
