As for the Lybians, let us just say that Arab dictators like Gadaffi and Saddam tend to have members of their family made generals, you are tought not to speak up as a lower ranking official etc. The Erbs on the other hand for the most part had an army which had many officers with Soviet training etc

Absolutely hillarious. I showed it to some of my American colleagues, they could not stop laughing for a while. I told them that that is the Bhindian army way of saluting their flag.

I have seen the Russians and Iranian military doing goose stepping and they look very graceful. Pakistan military looks pretty good in its parades but this is something described at best to be very ridiculous .

Its actualy a problem that all those Gulf States have, they lack skilled labour, this is why they have so many foreigners working over there. I can remember my own personal experience where I went to a Dubai hospital and found Indian,Syrian, Iraqui etc doctors working there, the locals are kept from being skilled because the Ruling family does not want to be overthrown, end of story.
