Except for the Bison, the IAF will have extremely capable acs compared to its closest rival and the bison itself won’t be a pushover, I’d love to see HAL cope with the production of 108 Mirages.

Looks like it shall be the Mirage afterall
Saequeh, ah come on I’m sure that someone knows something about it, it is the most interesting topic to learn about in my opinion since i am very curious about how the Iranians have fared with technology.
What a beautiful bird really.
Does anyone know what the Chinese think of the A-50 that they have, the Indian AF was not too satisfied when they leased one a few years ago, just wondering what the word was on the Chinese side and the upgrades that it contains compared to the typical Russian A-50. Also is the J-10 datalinked to the A-50, any speculation?
That is a starting point, although I doubt that the fighter will be so trainer like. Is it a full quad FBW plane?
Looks like another LCA/A-50 to me
Would it be carrying a Kopyo?
That is quite a beautiful bird, I have to say, anyone dare to guess on the specs?
There are supposed to be many russian scientists that went to iran after the breakup of the USSR, the Saqueh is supposed to incoorporate certain stealth features, I’ve heard that the RD-XX may be its engine, beyound that, I think that this airplane is the most looked over ac on this forum, hopefully someone has some model pics or something and specs please please?
Finally something interesting to talk about on this forum, we have talked so much about Indian/Chinese/Western/Russian acs, but rarely Iranian projects, anyone with model pics?
Dear PLA, its called testing, ever heard of it, stuff happens, the second prototype is alive and flying.
There should be a difference, one engine is cheaper to maintain and replace than two engines, Dassault has shown stellar customer support, I do not think that MiG could have come close, especially in the 90s when the IAF MiG-29s had a few glitches with the engines and what not, plus the Mirage 2000-5 is here and can be produced rather quickly and inducted, can the M2 be as well, also add to that that the IAf will want this and that equipment on it, not MiG’s fault there but if the IAF bought the Mirage, it would not have to do that, no need to MKise it.
Yes but you also have to look at what the IAF wants as well, they want a Western Eastern combo, the Mirages will give the IAF the western leg and the Sukhoi the Eastern one plus an indegenous leg in the LCA. tis not too good to put all your eggs in one basket and do not underscore the great pro Mirage lobby in the IAF.
Western equipment is way too expensive, I wonder who will be able to afford western equipment in the next generation.
add to that stellar after purchase customer support from Dassault
There is a reason why tthe Syrians only protested verbally, it is probable that F-16s entered Syrian airspace, my airforce would have at least fought back kdrafat :), yours did not, not because it stands for peace in the Mid East but because its airforce is not on par with its enemy and Bashar has to pay the Russians back for previous defence purchases before he gets new toys.
