For its price, the MiG-29M1/2 is the best fighter in the “lighter weight class”, and its also sexier than most of those new western girls. Russian beauty and at a good price too.

Noone will give you such a wide range of weapons like the Russians will and today, you do not tend to get downgraded export versions either. ONly problem is delivery.

facts are facts,no offense but just because Pakistan is involved in that project does not mean that the plane becomes LO.

Now to more realistic aviation questions, I wonder if they could put the ZhukM in that nose, tha would give the FC-1 a good BVR and track and scan ability, that would make the FC-1 a decent 4th gen fighter. It obviously won’t be stealthy and turn aroun like a SU-30MKI but it could hold its own and for that price, that is not bad. It won’t be a winner but BVR capability is important these days, my only concearn would be with the EW equipment, not that many high end goodies can be packed on a plane that is ment to be cheap.

Airplane prices are skyrocketing, it will be hard for many countries to maintain their squadron levels in the future, a Rusian MiG-29M goes for about 35M with all the goodies, I doubt that the Mirage is equal to 2 29Ms

Sabre don’t feed them with the LCA, let them believe what they wish, it does not matter, as long as they read their own articles where it s mentioned that the plane is only 70-80% as capable in aerodynamics as the F-16A etc, let them dream, even munir has the right to dream sometimes. The LEx looks similar to the J-10s, again, I have to commend, it looks like very nice tooling work, China is catching up quite nicely to the west.
