The UH-1H are operarted by bolivian pilots, the USA suport on the maintenance only. The unit name is “Diablos Rojos” “Red Devils”.
Why should the Bolivians need US support for maintance?? Just for an “outdated” helicopter like the UH-1?? No, please wake up. They are there obviously for a different reason….:diablo:

Nobody any info on the dates??
thanks, but almost every second word in that Polish text is an international word, I was hoping no one needs translation.:diablo:
You are being an optimist :p. Lets say every fifth word and to be honest even than it is not even always very clear what it means, so a translation is very welcome…………..;)
Info needed
Any info on when the Indians arive and leave?? Are they going to be all the time at Waddington and how many aircraft will come??
MiG-23 in storage??
Hmm, i guess for some reason they can’t use just bare ground (weird, knowing its mig23, which is pretty good at operating from improvized airfields) so, since they have to have some hard surface, they would rather use metallic panels, which are easy to replace in case of attack and damage to the apron, than asphalt, which might take a while to repair…
I do not think the surface is one to operate from : since the MiGs are very nicely lined up I think it is in a storage facility which would again explain the metal surfaces since grass would “damage” the planes more quickly in time.
