Skudupnorth I remember been able to walk out over the piers,i was there the day it closed some idiots throwing things at planes!!!
These old pics bring back great memories especially the Jat,Aviogenex,Dan-Air and Britannia 732.I loved it when Manchester used to thunder with these old jets.I will try to scan some of my old prints and get them on here i got some old memories Caledonian 1-11,Cal-air dc-10 etc.

Heres an interesting Dc8-73(cf) visiting Warsaw recently.A British Airways 777 (YMMA) also dropped in,not sure of the reason.

I was at MAN on 23 & 25.I went for the Air China,Saudi and FedEx but unfortunately didnt catch the latter.The BMIbaby is the new scheme TOYI and TOYM are carrying it.I managed to see YI at Warsaw last week,at MAN saturday & monday and again Wednesday at EMA.TOYM was parked at EMA on Friday.

caught this at Warsaw just over a week ago.Unfortunately it landed on the runway furthest from me and disappeared round the back of the terminal.I got a few shots but due to the temperature there was a lot of heat-haze so my pic nowhere near as good as yours.

Great Pics I’m going to be in MAN on Sat and Mon hope the werather is good.What settings did you use on your 50-500 shots? I’ve just bought this lens but my pictures dont seem to be as sharp as yours I’m still getting used to it.

This is the 2nd Lufthansa diversion to MAN recently,A 747 had to land with a medical emergency a few months ago.I will be at MAN next week i hope i get to see something special
