The 300 & 350 are very similar.I think if the price is right on the 300 pack thats the one to go for.I tried them all and they all fell solid and well built,so you dont have to worry it will serve you well for years to come.
I’ve been planning t visit some of Europes major Airports and I was looking mainly at Frankfurt and Amsterdam but Munich looks very interesting and having just checked on some flights its also way cheaper along with Zurich for the dates I have in mind.
Some great pictures it looks like you managed to get on the ramp for some.
I have recently bought a Sony Alpha 350 with 18-70mm.So far I have only used it at weddings cos I am waiting for my 170-500mm lens that I’ve ordered. It’s a relatively easy camera to use and the quality is top notch and I think that will improve with better lenses. Most people I know use Canon or Nikon and I was tempted to go for 1 of these my self as there is a far greater choice of lenses, however I’ve always had Minolta in the past and Sony use the same mount so I went with Sony so that I have 5 lenses without having to rebuy them all,and that was the deciding factor.I think whichever you choose you will be happy it depends on if you want to be paying more money for lenses or you want to stay with the lens supplied personally I’d go for a 2 lens package.
If you can find a deal with the 55-200mm lens simply add a 2x converter for greater focal length.
Good luck and Best wishes

Steve

I remember quite a few years back there was talk of Kuwait starting a service to MAN although it never came to fruition, shame it would be nice to see some of their 747s/777s in uk outside of LHR.Saudi has started maybe KA will follow in the future.lets hope
LOVING the Aeroflot DC10’s I saw this in november but i was airside in the terminal and it was late in the day so i couldnt get a shot through the glass and it was getting dark.Out of interest which day does the 737f visit.
many thanks

I just ordered a 170-500 Ive used a 75-300 before at this location with good results cant wait to see what the new Camera and lens can produce..
Very nice pictures keep em coming

This is probably a “Codeshare” flight where the flight is operated by 1 airline but other airlines use them for their customers. For Example I live in Warsaw and if you look at the flight arrivals and departures you will see flights to/from Heathrow,Frankfurt,Brussels,Amsterdam,New York and Toronto been served by several airlines in fact all these will be Operated by LOT (or BA on heathrow route) they just use the flight codes from the other airlines.

Have a great & safe holiday.

You could also try Stockport railway station for aircrft on approach to RWY 23.I used this place myself but you need to be quick as the planes are still carrying a fair bit of speed.
if youre having problems distinguishing the different types simply go to airliners.net and use the search.study the pictures and soon you will see the differences that give you clues to each aircraft.I also recommend spending a day at Manchester here you will see most major types in service today.
Good luck and welcome to civil aviation.

Wizzair is worse I started using themin 2006 for flights to Warsaw and was able to get a return flight all taxes and charges for anything from £30 – £100 depending on dates and how long in advance i booked. Now though its a £5 credit card charge (pp) £12 for checked in luggage (pp) the taxes are scandalous a 49p flight cost me nearly £70 in taxes and charges.and also £60 to change a passenger name how can it cost that to delete a name on the computer and type a different 1?
There are 2 leased to Air Italy Polska.
I would think it’s gonna be a 737 probably the 300 series. The 757 is used on longer routes to Egypt and Turkey. But dont take this as 100 % certainty
