well losing the DL route will be a bad thing but if the LH service proves to be fruitfull then this must be good news
I just havent got to grips with the RAW software for my camera yet.And i’m still getting good enough pictures for A.net and JP so for now i’ll stick to JPEG until i master the RAW software
Scotty
I know what you mean with JP screeners, they seem to reject pictures for 1 reason so you go back and edit that problem and then they find another reason to reject,Why cant they just give all the reasons the 1st time
As for the unlevel situation it can be a real pain in the a55, I use the same method as you by taking lamp posts and buildings as a guide but here in WAW theres a few lamp posts that are leaning due to being run into by airport vehicles so i try to keep the ground level but not all ground is perfectly flat,so youre never going to get a level ground with perfect verticals.I also had a dispute with a screener over this too much/too little…. reason. Why not say 1 way or the other ? How are we expected to put things right when we dont know if its too much or too little of something.
ALthough A.net screeners are a bit more picky they will help with fixing rejections.I had a shot denied for ‘Crop’ I asked what was wrong and was told to crop a bit tighter,i fixed it and it was accepted.
luckily i still see TU-154s regularly as the Polish Government use them.I remember BH- 154s about 7-8 years ago at MAN. My folks even flew 1.
I got the A350 too, I shoot mainly in JPEG but i have tried RAW.the quality is much better in RAW but i’m not 100% certain on editing them so I tend to keep to JPEG. If you can edit the RAW shots then use that if ya not too sure on the editing then stick to JPEG,if you use RAW + JPEG then at least youll have the JPEG back up.But this will sap the space on ya memory card.
Congrats….
I remember the feeling of getting 1st on JP,and with a pic i took on my birthday 🙂 I got 40 now and it’s still a nice feeling.
Best of luck with A.net I only wanted to get 1 on there but managed to get 4 so far 😀
Keep up the good work
a few from the 28th
yeah i love that bird.3 new ones to be delivered to LOT tomorrow & Friday 1 is in special paint as its the 600th E-jet.so i’ll try to catch em.
Now for the SKY collection, with 4 flights every Wednesday I expected to see the whole fleet through the summer however they tend to send the same birds each week:( this week I got 2 new birds + a new angle on 2 already seen,so well pleased as 1 was their -900 ER which is the 1st I ever seen of this type here in WAW:).I also managed a drcent shot at the Aegean 737 which has a habit of departing during flash storms
Hers a few of mine, not up yo the standard of the 1’s above but thought i’d share anyway.
Very nice
Loving the Kuwait A300,not many of those birds still flying. The Korean 747(HL7465) i saw here WAW last month on an Official visit. Also like the Qantas and BA 747 shots.looking forward to seeing more of ya stuff.
I use Corel pro for Cropping and the levels.I then go to CS3 for resizing,Dust spot removal and Sharpening.
Well Rob all i can say is that the 2 old minolta lenses i have are like brand new1 is a 35-80 which is about 9 years old and the other is a 50mm which My parents bought me in 1993 and it was 2nd hand(new in 87′) if anything its sigma that has let me down.i took my old mans 75-300 and all of the bayonet fell off when i disconnected it from the body.Sounds like you got unlucky.
however back to topic I still highly recommend the Alpha range well made nice to use and with that Sony name you know is reliable.but if you are looking at them i say go for the old range as opposed to the new releases, they feel better to hold and the new 1’s have multicolour menus which are a little OTT,the old B&W is much easier to read.
Love the DHL shot ‘RH is a regular here in WAW,I hate the Maersk because every time it comes to WAW i miss it and i’m extremly jealous 😀
Only joking all very nice..
