Great shots Stuart,I’m visiting DSA in sept(going to see the folks) so may pop out to Robin Hood for an afternoon, hope i get lucky with something like this.
If I may just add my opinion then can I say take a look at Sony Alpha.I have the A350 and it’s fantastic,I was using a bridge camera(Lumix FZ-50) but i could not believe the jump in quality when I switched to the Alpha. They use Minolta fit lenses so there’s lot of lenses out there and not too expensive.Of course Canon and Nikon have a larger range of accesories but anyting you can get for thse you can get for the Sony. And also Sony have just launched a new range so the older models could be picked up a little cheaper( and i think they look better too, also much nicer to hold) Whatever you choose I think will be good enough,in this day and age and for your budget there isnt really a ‘Bad’ choice just what you feel the most comfortable using is the best.
it depends on the angle and light conditions in which you see it.It looks much better in the “flesh” than on pictures.
very nice.

Very true Steve, but at least its something different.I actually call it the flying dog-t**d.But it is nice to something other than the usual boring LOTs.It actually looks better in the fleash than on pics.
No they didn’t do anything like that but it was a pathetic reason because the picture showed and dull cloudy day.they actually said re-edit and re-upload.
I did get a snotty email from JP saying i’d uploaded a rejected picture and “DO NOT SEND THIS AGAIN”
All very nice.great sharpness and quality.Looks like the weather was against you a bit though.I cant see any duspots on these pics, they are a pain in the Ar$e i know.
The 1st one is pretty good but looks a tiny bit over sharpened. The 2nd shot is a little too dark.Personally i think theyre good but as NCL said JP screeners are very picky although not as bad as A.net screeners. And once on ap.net i was rejected because there was no sun shining on the aircraft.
/love the Qatar 330,this angle exagerates it’s wigspan eeven more.Air Zimbabwe 767 looking good, very 70’s livery
Very nice,I particularly like the Saudi 777 shots.Good timing on the Pegasus too.
Very Nice
