A nice 2008 copy of Pooleys, now when I arrive overhead an airfield I can flick through until I find one where the picture matches whats on the ground, I will then know where I am.

Blue Max, i couldn’t agree more! PFA (LAA) must be the way forward for the UK Auster world, this system is much more user friendly and a simpler method of keeping Austers flying, surely common sense will prevail, this should be seen as a golden one off opportunity which should be snapped up PDQ!

Just as a point of interest regarding the Merlin drawings shipped to the us, all Merlin drawings were re-drawn by Packard for ease of mass producing them.
Any one who knows Merlins, The “Packard built Rolls-Royce Merlin” 1650-7 for performance and reliability.
