As I was walking home just now around 15:45 I’m fairly sure a P47 circled really low over head, I thought it was a T-6 at first till I noticed the front was more oval shaped and it had a fuel tank under each wing, yellow around the engine and the rest I think was green with grey underneath and USAF under one wing, but I didn’t think there were any p47’s flying in the UK at the moment? Whatever it was was certainly chunky and had a beautiful throaty engine! I’m in Newport S/Wales.

I find it ridiculous that in some states they’re illegal, they make such wonderful pets!
As for selling them, here in the UK they’ll only be going for £10 each .

Angora ferrets and European Polecats sell for a LOT more.

To slaughter them so senselessly and in such a painfully, drawn out, way angers me beyond the ability to express my feelings in words.

    I second that.

I’ve had the privilege of seeing Hump Backs in South Africa and Pilot Whales in Tenerife, There’s something completely enchanting and mesmerizing about Whales…

Incidentally, does that barbaric Dolphin slaughter still happen in Japan? :/

I had some really nice ones of some birds on a bird feeder in the snow but I have no idea where they’ve vanished to…

As I live in a flat, I have to say noisy neighbours who yell and swear and play their loud music all day and into the early hours of the morning. We are plagued by that round here, with landlords who do nothing about problem tenants when you complain to them.

Number 222 in our flat block love blasting their radio at full volume, they’re on the bottom floor and we can here it on the top floor (it’s only 3 stories but it’s still ridiculously loud, especially when they leave a window open so the entire street can listen) I’m getting very close to leaving them a note on behalf of the entire block/street.

+Also what’s been grinding my gears, is people using religion as an excuse to be homophobic. with gay marriage about to be officially legalized in 33 minutes. Did anyone else watch Quesiton Time last night? A Catholic women stated “Marriage is not about love, it is about pro-creation” I guess in that case, childless married couples should be forced to divorce and we better stick an age limit on it too…. for goodness sake, I forget people like that still exist in the world.

Just witnessed a lady on the news say “god never put 2 men on the earth to be together”

I’m fairly sure if god put people on the world, you can be sure he put gay people on the earth (but that’s an argument for another thread)

It’s nearly always women opposing it too , just from my observations.

today my gears were sufficiently ground (grinded?) watching BBC NEWS 24 , doing a report on domestic abuse, speaking as if only women get abused and only men are abusers.

Mainly Musical Theatre, various sub genres of classical, Swing/Ragtime/Electro-swing & 80s/90s pop. tbh I’ll listen to almost anything, I just can’t abide Urban/RnB or Hardcore Screamo type stuff.
