I am not sure how that would work in practice; how would a ‘retailer’ of drugs stand if somebody overdosed from the drugs that they supplied?

Would it not be the same protocol as someone getting alcohol poisoning?

Drugs should absolutely be legalised. If for no other reason than users having access to a clean supply rather than what ever crap some drug dealers put in what they sell. I still can not understand why we legalise alcohol and tobacco but not other drugs.

So you’re telling me it’s perfectly legal for someone to get twatted to the point of being hospitalised on vodka, and yet illegal for someone to chill out with the odd spliff?

I know a lot of doctors reckon things like MDMA are less harmful than alcohol, I would happily chose MDMA over alcohol on a night out if it were legal (yes I’m not afraid to admit I’ve dabbled in this and that in the past)

I think a lot of people have the views they have about anti drugs but pro alcohol just because the government says so… I’m sure people only go laong with this “5 a day” thing because the government says so… Personally I rarely listen to what the government tells us

I reckon the government could legalise.. say.. .cannabis tomorrow and suddenly society would become a lot less afraid of it

    yeah, that’s where I stand.

Garwells aircraft was hit over the target, this is depicted in Chris Stothard’s excellent painting ” The Augsburg Raid “.

Turns out my friend managed to get in contact with the artist who has a copy of the painting signed by the last surviving crew member of the raid which my friend and his sister are going to get for their father for Christmas 😀 I hope everyone here realises how much this all means to the family, thank you all 🙂

You sure about 617 Squadron? On http://www.raf.mod.uk/history/dambusterscrewandcodewords.cfm it is not possible to find a Sgt. Edwards on the Dambusters flight.

I did find an Ivor Edwards flying with 44 Squadron (http://twgpp.org/information.php?id=1286024) who was killed over Germany in a Lancaster in 1942, aged 22.

Yes I think my friend’s Grandparents have miss interpreted being a Lancaster crew member as being a Dam Buster , I should change the title

and thank you for the link 🙂

Also it really hit’s home when I see the age these men die… 22… That’s my age :/ It’s almost impossible to comprehend… I sure as hell wouldn’t have it in me to go into battle , I struggle with confrontation at the best of times.

That’s interesting, thanks for the link 🙂 there is the possibility that wires have been crossed somewhere in the information about being a Dambuster , I’m just repeating what I’ve been told 🙂
