Yes I get ghost planes not showing up on the FR24 too. SPYS INIT !
haha I often wonder , the sound appears very suddenly like a (hmm how to I type this phonetically? ) a very deep but smooth mooooaaaaoooowwwww not the usual gradually getting louder as with most airliners passing over head
I’m in Brighton so a fair amount of Gatwick traffic comes this way
I’d also like a little freedom from commentary and music so that I can hear the aircraft properly.
I find it hysterical when commentators try to talk over after-burners haha
TA,
On a matter of strict technicality for inclusion in/on this thread can one Post ‘unusual’ instances observed on http://www.flightradar24.com/. Or does one have to shufti the crates with one’s own personal shuftiscopes?
Resmoroh
how accurate is that site? I often hear rumbles going on over head at night, and see nothing on that map aha unless of course it’s aliens. lol 😀
I love Shoreham Airshow! but I sooooo wish they’d get a new commentator, the current one somehow manages to mention his days of flying Concorde during every single display, and everything according to him is “such a joy to fly” ok , we get it, you’re and ex Concorde pilot & you’e flown everything. It drives me and Grandpa mad every year lol
Regardless of that, I’m really looking forward to it as always 😀
I believe the quote at the top of the poll should be “Don’t you yell at me Mr. Warwick”
‘One, the RAF is NOT a flying circus….’
AMAZING!!! =D I was there 🙂 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UTProJx5xw
that’s brilliant!
Amazing!!! I’ve been looking jealously at all the stunning pictures being posted of it on Facebook in the past month or so, been in some beautiful formations too!
It’s great seeing pictures of all the London bits receiving attention at Duxford! Me , my partner & a couple of friends were at IWM London around 2 weeks before everything started being taken down, I knew they were planning a revamp, had no idea at the time it was all bound for temporary storage at Duxford =D
I love seeing the updates you post here, I found it through the duxford-update website, keep up the great work =D
I saw my first flying spitfire at Airbourne early 2000something or possibly ’99 I’d have to go look through old programmes.
I probably saw my very first spitfire in general at the Imperial War Museum London
