I was at Legends in 2008 ,my one and only time. That picture brings back memories of a great day never thought i would see 3 B-17 together.Pity one is gone ,one is grounded and the other has an uncertanin future like so many these days. Luckily i got to see Liberty Belle twice once at Dux and once in Kissimee in March 2004 in her final stages of assembly.Having seen Pink Lady in 2008 and Sally B since 1975 i need to goto the good ol USA to see the rest.

BTW many thanks for all the posts on the 2012 thread couldn,t post before it got closed.

Having watched it AGAIN, I was suddenly reminded of the Mosquito flicking through the clouds, formating on the lost Vampire in ‘The Shepherd’ novella by F
    Forsyth

They also have a Vampire down there, a good director could shoot a stunning film of that story, a guaranteed Christmas hit !

    How about this one.

First model built Airfix bagged P-40 for 37 1/2p in 1972 from the local TV rental shop!
First painted was an Airfix Mossie which i painted all over yellow years before i had seen pictures of the Prototype [que the Twighlight Zone music!]

Went on to build with varying degrees of sucsess.Monogram B-52,Airfix B-29 [loved that one] and the Airfix 1/24 Spitfire, plus many many others.
Like many others i suspect it was the Airfix box art that got me interested. Very dynamic images.

Noticed a DVD titled ‘Cockneys v. Zombies’ in my local Morrisons – is it as crappy as it sounds, or is it so awful it’s good ? Anybody seen it?

Very enjoyable worth a watch “Abercrombie and Fitch …Zombie!” 7/10

    The Day [2011]
Five survivors in a post-apocalyptic world find a house to hole up in with gruesome results.
I thought this was a very good intense movie. The ‘twist’ is obvious fairly early on but the tension is maintained throughout the film.Good acting and characters to care about. 8/10

    Taken 2 [2012]
A father and ex husband must fight to save his ex-wife and daughter from the relatives of the men who he killed in the first film.
Loses a bit of the energy of the first film but an enjoyable romp . 7/10

With the quality film making of B of B and The Pacific i think the emphasis will be on the human story, but with such subject matter a certain amount of aerial scenes will be needed, and CGI will be used.I don’t mind CGI and hopefully its use will be handled to tell an honest story with out resorting to gung-ho manouvres a la Red Tails.
All assuming it gets made of course.
