    Super 8
After witnessing a mysterious train crash, a group of friends in the summer of 1979 begin noticing strange happenings going around in their small town, and begin to investigate into the creepy phenomenon.

Apparently this is a homage from JJ Abrams to Steven Speilberg’s work of the 70’s and 80’s. Namely ET, CE3K and The Goonies. I found it to be all of that, a very good engaging film which reminded me a lot of Spielbergs work.
    Highly recommended

“A tough cop is dispatched to take down a serial killer who has been targeting police officers. “

stars Jason Statham so we all know what to expect. quite an engaging film, the first couple of minutes made my day [ b****y TWOC er’s ]

Electric cars are too expensive to buy, still produce carbon emissions albeit at the power station from where the electricity is provided.
More importantly they don’t make a vroom vroom noise !:)

I wonder if the BBC got a ‘special’ deal for altering their contract ,if they had not renewed in 2013 then F1 would have to go to another free to air channel like ITV CH4 etc. But this way FOM get’s more money for longer [2018] and they still [in their eyes] honour the Concorde agreement.

…Under the current Concorde Agreement – the commercial arrangement which binds together the teams, commercial rights holders CVC and motor sport’s world governing body the FIA – a clause stipulates F1 must be free to air.Mr Ecclestone is expected to argue that the contract has not been broken because half of the races will still be screened on the BBC.

    Only half broken agreement then.

Terrible news….next we will here that Top Gear has move to Sky
no cheering at the back there MoggyC

If Mike DA Mustang had been made in the 50’s 60’s or 70’s we would all be raving about, it reminicing about how it got us interested in aviation.
I actually enjoyed the trailer at least the aircraft were fairly accurate renditions of the real thing.I would encourage any youngsters to give it a go [i will watch it !].
