Thanks AdlerTag, thats the one i was mixing up with the slipwing Hurricane.I recalled a top wing moving and got the two mixed up! Should never rely on memory alone [especially mine!]

Thank you pagen01 for correcting my very bad memory, i knew it had something to do with the top wing,but may have got mixed with a memory of something else i had read about.

IRLWP from memory which is vague at the best of times ,i seem to remeber the slipwing design meant the top wing moved forwards and backwards around a centre point to improve some aspect of the flight charateristics.
i am probably wrong and should also Google it:)

Loved her when i first saw her as N17TE,also thought the yellow tail was a good scheme,as long as she flies they could paint her whatever colour they like .

I have no money now i will have less to spend tommorrow.
When everyone in this country shoulders the burden for this budget defecit ,including all the goverment i will listen to them ,at the moment it seems the only people suffering are those who can least afford it.One more rise in tax or cut in spending is only going to affect certain sections of the electorate.

Yes! In fact just watching the Youtube clip it could almost have been filmed in the same location as the remake,also seems word for word the same!!

True Grit [2010]
Just saw this. I haven’t seen the John Wayne original for a number of years so i cant comment on how much this follows the original. I enjoyed it, a well made film from the Coen brothers as i would expect. I thought Jeff Bridges made a good Rooster Cogburn and Hailee Steinfeld as the 14 year old Matty Ross practically steals the film.
Very much worth a watch
