Good to see the Falcon in the background. Worried this one will be as bad as the last three films made.
I can still remember the thrill of watching Clapperboard when it showed the clip of Han and Luke man the Falcons turrets.
At the time mind blowing effects and ships that looked dirty and used….aahh

Glad the crew and Aircraft are down safely, but why did it have to happen now. The only time i will be able to see the CWH Lancaster was at Shoreham. Words cannot describe my feelings at this moment in time.

Filth James Mcavoy is a cynical nasty copper lying and abusing his way to the top ,with a little twist. Not bad,not as cool as it thinks it is 7/10

Homefront Jason Statham protecting his daughter from the bad guys nuff said. keeps you amused for a few hours 7/10 just because it’s Statham.

Noah laughably bonkers take on the mythical story, and not a dead unicorn in sight! 6/10

Sunshine on Leith A musical about the love lives of two returning soldiers in Scotland all to the tunes of The Proclaimers. Wonderfully entertaining 8/10

Captain America The Winter Soldier Ok if that’s your thing i enjoyed it 8/10

All five of the original Planet of the apes movies great start ,misses a beat then comes strong again with the third film then falls of a cliff
Planet of the Apes 9/10 a classic
Beneath the planet of the Apes 6/10 poor
Escape from the planet of the Apes 8/10 much better
Conquest of the planet of the Apes 6/10 oh dear
Battle for the planet of the Apes 4/10 really! was this film necessary?

Finally Tim Burtons version of Planet of the Apes Not bad terrible ending 7/10

This was only my second Legends experience, the first being in 2008,I thought the flying displays were excellent and the line up memorable. I went on the Saturday and was disappointed that some of the advertised participants didn’t show due to the weather, but those are the breaks.I loved seeing the Connie and the P-40C up close although i had to leave just as the Connie was starting up …shame.Would be nice if one year both European Catalinas could attend,i believe the Dutch Cat was due to fly in but obviously didn’t make it ,and G-PBYA always seems to be elsewhere when Legends is on. Have they ever displayed together at a UK airshow? I guess i will have to hope PBYA is at Shoreham.

I have decided if i go again i must remember the following…

1/ Get there early and chain/tie a chair to the fence to reserve a good spot for the display and then b@*#er off for hours.
2/ Take more money and do the flight line walk to get any decent photos of the visiting aircraft ,unless you are carrying multiple cameras festooned with loooong lenses which bash into you,the fence, other people..etc
3/ Ignore calls over the tannoy for stepladders not be used as your uninterrupted shot is more important.
4/ Have a sense of humour so the above do not spoil your day.:highly_amused:
All in all well done all involved for a great day

Yes because I use it. Through the main museum entrance, just off the M11 roundabout, and parking is outside Hangar 2 (ARCo/TFC hangar)
