The Su-27/F-15 Langley thing is one of those urban legends that won’t die. It’s been discredited numerous times but people believe what they want to believe. You can find the relevant posts over on F-16.net. Wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve been posted here as well.
There’s a saying “You can always find an excuse if you look for one” the fact that F15’s lost doesn’t change anything.
Flex297 I respect your opinion. Raptor is fifth generation and current SU series where never ment to be its direct counter.
He was prob talking about training fights between su-27 and f15.
back to topic now.
ROFLMAO! F-22’s RCS is 0.0001m2
have u guys ever heard of Plasma Stealth?

There is an important news about F-15 and the future of the Usaf.Usa is planning to get 381 f-22 Raptors and 1763 F-35 aircrafts.Do you think can Rusaf get 2144 PAK-FA before it’s service life.I read a news today Rusaf will get five su-34 aircrafts in 2008.What do you think the production speed about Russian facilities.I’m sure PAK-FA will be a very advanced aircraft and I’m also waiting to see it but will it get enough funds from the goverment and how many PAK-FA will produce per year?
The U.S. is carrying out a gradual replacement of its F-15s with the new F-22 fighters. What might be Russia’s response?
Russia’s response to it already exists and we have talked about such aircraft as Su-30 and Su-35. These models also have “stealth” elements. If we compare F-22 with Su-27, “Raptor”, as F-22 is called in the U.S., often outperforms Su-27, but Su-30 and Su-35 surmount F-22, in their turn, even in terms of “stealth” elements. As you remember, it is “stealth” technology, which distinguishes F-22 from its predecessor, F-15, but almost all radars in Russia can easily find F-22. Thus, I think money spend on modernisation of F-15 were just thrown away. As far as avionics are concerned, Su-30 and Su-35 can compete with F-22 anywhere in every situation. For instance, Major General Kharchevsky have conducted 8 mock air combats in the U.S. and won all of them.
A-50 AWACS can detect up to 150 targets 600km away.
Thanks ARA662!! nice video, loads of new stuff including the definitive cockpit & GPS/GLONASS test bomb drop[06:21]…there’s no way this kick-ass warplane weighs in at only $36million.
NP. That’s to makes it more attractive for export. Note that price is only mentioned with AL-31FM engines.
You’re telling us you don’t recognize the plane behind it?
Don’t be so naive.
He meant PAK FA uses the same “test-bed” 😉

I uploaded a video for you guys:

Not the latest news but certainly important.

YAAAAY first flight already!!!!! How’d you get aboard the chase plane? Lucky Devil.
Indeed, but I had to stand on my friends shoulders and he had to run really fast 🙁

Thats one way to defeat f22’s stealth :p Thanks Ronald McDonald Douglas.
