Could it be the admiral’s barge? 😀

Does anyone know why this Beaufighter has not been recovered. It seems to be easily accessible and isn’t too deep?
War grave?
The uncropped single MK IX blade sitting on my desk is an RA 10046/RTS and it measures from base of hub to tip 60.5″
Blimey! That beats my ball-point pen that maxes out at 5 and 7/8in from end to end :D.
Seriously though, how big is your desk, Mark ?
(Apologies for uncorrected drift of thread)
As a founder member of the ‘Bah Humbug’ club, I forecast (to all those who were within earshot) some twenty years ago that the sending of Christmas cards would die out before 2020!
Looks like I could be right ;).
Judging by the cards I have received thus far this year, the word ‘Christmas’ is lacking from most – the words ‘Xmas’, ‘Season’ and ‘Magical time’ 😮 feature instead on more than half of them.
Now all we have to do is stop all that miserable ‘Seasonal’ music from being played in shops and pubs – then it will be just like any other time of the year! 😀

Nice pics, Martin.
Great to to see Ariadne again!
This sort of error is quite common – my publisher often gets this sort of response when searching image libraries (even one of the worlds largest!).
One of the problems is down to the ignorance of the uploader / photographer / librarian in incorrectly ‘tagging’ the image in the first instance.
However, I ALWAYS place the blame firmly on the proof-reader 😀
RIP Brian.
The 80th Entry remembers you.
Blue skies!
I seem to remember (somewhat hazily!) a converted Transit? van at Brands Hatch that was quite fast – anybody remember the details (Alan Mann Racing perhaps/).
(Sorry for thread drift :o)

Plenty of Bomber up your neck of the woods Eddie – brought some bottles back ‘down south’ after my last visit to Southport 😀
Nice pics, Rich!
Pity you don’t have any decent ‘period’ chocks, though!:diablo:
