Snap Spitfireman!
Supanet also dicked me after 6 years with them – I recently declined their attempt to get me to sign-up for a yearly contract due to an impending house move. Last month I phoned-in my month’s notice (according to contract) – yesterday, they arbitrarily changed the collection day for my direct debit, by bringing it forward one week, and then had the cheek to charge me for going over my download limit, even though I was on an unlimited download package, which I had hardly used for that last month due to packing my PC stuff ready for the oaforementioned house move. Needless to say, I won’t be using them again.

I hope the lass with the attractive legs wasn’t wearing stilettos at the time.
Looks like she was sat facing the wrong way too!:p
Nice picture though!

Or you could try AdBlock Plus – available from https://adblockplus.org/en/.
It’s REALLY Cheap ( i.e FREE 😉 ) and works very well!
I was on 24 Squadron around the mid-60s and remember our Hastings being involved in various low-level practice streams during my time. Some of these jaunts took them on a scenic tour of Wales (and/or, sometimes, Scotland).
I didn’t fly on any of these particular sorties so can’t confirm the reason for these operations – no knowledge of the Bevs being involved either – but on Transport Command, and later, Air Support Command, if the Army held a ‘party’ then we were all usually invited.;)
“There should be a RJ Mitchell day.”
Agreed – but I usually offer some words of thanks to him on Battle of Britain Day!
Nice video!
Kev and Moggy have both been here since January 2000 (or so it says on their posting headers) – but both may have been reading the forum before then.
I’m a fairly recent ‘joiner’ and don’t post much but I enjoy reading what others say.
Many more years to you both – and the same goes for all forumites on here (can’t stand those would-be defence procurers’ discussions on the Military section, though :D)
Peace and joy to you all.

Great video – thanks for posting the link, PVA !
The music wasn’t really great – pity there weren’t more real aircraft sounds on the sountrack 🙁
But then, I am a bit Grumpy 😉
While you are making her into a ‘proper’ Mark II – are you going to change the exhaust system for the CORRECT one?
That would give the benefit of a ‘proper’ growl instead of that muffled excuse for one caused by that new-fangled piped system!
Then you could enjoy the art of stub-changes, just like we had to do 😀
Nice work though, chaps – keep it going!

You certainly know how to pick a nose!:D
Nice set – thanks for the look-see.
