Excellent shots, Arjan. Thanks for posting – I like the 195!
[QUOTE=bazv;1754004]Paul Young live on the tube…
With the pert (and braless :D)…Maz Roberts and Kim Lesliie looking great 😀
Thanks for the ‘heads-up’ Baz!
How did I miss that first time around?
Perhaps I didn’t miss it – old age does things to the memory (but my eyes are still OK!).

OMG,That`s aweful…………
I’m not an iPad fan either!
Seriously though, it is a frightening story – I wonder what the medical ethics people reckon!

Speaking of 109’s getting the tail up…
Near-disaster on Luftwaffe 109 and 190 take-off
Very ‘interesting’ video. Thanks for the link, Tony.
It’s a pity people feel the need to convert these historic video/cine things to wide-screen format – spoils it for me, anybody else?:(
The man specifically asked for NO photography comments! (super-injunction time?):D
Anyway, I particularly like the Meteor pics, brought back memories!
My two-pence worth:
1) Everybody whether in the public eye or not has a RIGHT to privacy – but those who court publicity in order to further their personal status or career, etc, should remember that there are people out there wielding double-edged swords !
2) Probably no, and maybe (but how?)
3) Yes, as long as you speak to no-one, write to nobody, sign-up for nothing, don’t open your curtains, etc.
4) Blame it on the internet, modern culture or whatever you like, but it is usually down to basic animal instinct, opportunity, and a lack of moral rectitude in some cases – one or all of these usually applies. If you mean the craving of those who wish to know about ‘who is in whose bed’ – you’ll need to ask those who buy The Daily Comic; I stopped buying a “news”paper when my job decided it didn’t need a grumpy old git any more – never missed it all (paper or job!).

Had a similar problem with the digital teletext missing from BBC2 when ours went modern. With a separate tv reading from a new digi-box in one room, and a state of the art flat screen with integrated digital tuner in another room, we still had problems even though we are less than 20 miles and in line-of-sight of the Wells transmitter. The tv reception itself was excellent but text only worked on BBC1.
Had to re-scan the channels on several occasions over a period of several weeks before we were able to see teletext on all BBC channels.

Great selection of aircraft & liveries – love the Dan-Air, one of my favourite schemes of that era.
Also, the BMA Viscount is a proper retro scheme (but why did they need an anti-glare patch on the nose when lots of its contemporaries crew members just used their ‘sunnies’ instead? 😀
Thanks for posting!
Definitely 3/9 – 1/3 each!! It is etched in the memory – whoever went to the barbers for a haircut??:D
And why was it always something for the weekend?
I recall being ‘potless’ for several years while a young man – even at that price 1s 3d it was always “a considered purchase”
