If you have 1 hour and 2 minutes to spare – a little opera for you – the rock opera “Tommy” from The Who – live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfZQLXs72Lo

Reply #11: “you have a strange idea of what is exciting about going to Canada”

From my personal experience of inflight toilets (including many visits behind the curtain down the back end of a C130), it is better to travel hopefully than to arrive. If the bog works and the wash basin isn’t blocked, who cares whether it’s downstairs or not? (C130 has no basin!).

Some parts of Oh Canada are simply stunning – the vast (used advisedly!) majority of it is boring. It’s much too big for us Brits to get our heads around, like Australia, but without kangaroos :D.

    Kobayashi – agree

Lotus agree (for nostalgic reasons, mainly, but nice looking car and colour scheme)

Webber best of the oldies – overcoming obvious bias in favour of his team-mate(?)

Red Bull (for qualli) – otherwise McClaren for plugging away with a poor qualifier but still near the top of the pile

Walking along with my same-aged wife (see my sig for my birth year!) when two children aged around 8 or 9 passed in the opposite direction. The lad said to the girl – “See, I told you they weren’t old people” :D.

Join the ‘glass half-empty’ club – I won’t go near the place now!
Fortunately, sturdy souls like you are prepared to run the gauntlet and provide some excellent photos for us ‘stay-at-homes’.
Great shots, thanks for uploading them:)

Most urban roads will be much quiter and probably safer now that the school holidays have started!
Thankfully, mum and her people-carrier/4×4 has disappeared from outside my house for a few weeks, too. I shall be able to get into my driveway much more easily now:D
