Most urban roads will be much quiter and probably safer now that the school holidays have started!
Thankfully, mum and her people-carrier/4×4 has disappeared from outside my house for a few weeks, too. I shall be able to get into my driveway much more easily now:D
Luckily the aircraft tail numbers aren’t ‘6’ and ‘9’ – but that would be contrary to the principles of flight as we know them:diablo:

Kev,
Your statement about the Radcliffe is, I believe, correct.
It’s my understanding that the fallen go through Brize while the wounded, particularly those seriously wounded, use BHX due to the proximity to the QE.

The fallen – alas so many! – are repatriated via Lyneham.
After a sombre ceremonial arrival ceremony, and family reunion with their loved ones, they are driven through the local town of Wootton Bassett where they are honoured by the good people of that place, along with others who travel from across the UK to pay their respects.

Nice shots! Not seen the Polish before – thanks for posting:).
Been ground running today – heard it while on the phone to my son at Lyneham.:D
Not very lucky if they were England fans!!!
I’m still looking for the Messerschmitt in the clip title!
They were treated to a run of one of the Gyron Junior engines on the Bucc.
Hope the new place has a ‘FOD-free’ ground run area!
Good luck with the planning.
Seen in a supermarket in Ibiza – bacon sandwich anybody?
