Bit of an ‘orange’ cast on some of them:rolleyes:
Nice pics, Rob!
Thanks for posting them Ollie!
Liked the BBMF shots – the Lanc is notoriously difficult to shoot against a light(ish) background. Looks fine to me – but then I’m an aircraft fan, not a pedantic photo critic!
Regards – Dave
Nice shots, Septic.
Particularly like the Hurry:cool: and the Reds pair is a stunner. Thanks.
Please keep posting Ollie – most people on here appreciate the efforts of ALL who put up their pictures, even if they don’t always comment on them. Don’t let the other lot get at you!
Nice shots of the Hurricane!
Thanks.
Love the Hunter , you can almost feel the heat
Where were you ?
Stephen
Me too! I used to feel the heat on a daily basis at Chivenor – mind you, the gear was down and in contact with terra firma on ‘most’ occasions.
Great picture!
Aaaahhh – Hurricane!
Any airborne shots, please?
Nice pics, Tartan!
Loved the BBJ – thought the Neos winglet shot was stunning, too!
Quoting Tartan:
“And ..if you look at the “quality” they achieve in the papers using the best of gear too, i could replicate the results with my phone cam!!. “
Many lensmen working for the gutter press do just that – their ‘expensive’ long lens equipment is generally for the purpose of getting close to the subject. Their efforts are then processed on a laptop (in the car, or by the side of the road) before being transmitted over a mobile phone network to their respective pigsty or photo agency, usually with an incorrect caption!
Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh – Hurricane!!
Thanks Keith.
Has it been taken over by Ryanair?:D
Great pictures and story!
There are some issues concerning your choice of in-flight dining, though.
A little turbulence could dislodge your lens from its ‘stowage’ too!
Thanks for the ‘heads up’ Mustang51 – excellent videos of this great aircraft.
I am not familiar with the cockpit of the Sabre but…. is the pilot not using his seat harness during the in-cockpit takeoff and landing sequences?
Enjoyed the Filton flypast (assuming it didn’t land) – viewed it from the road at the Cribbs Causeway area.
They eventually changed the propeller and that cured it.
I don`t know what causes Hydromatic props to go out of balance though.Pete
Could be anything from a bird-strike to a light tap with a piece of ground equipment, or even a vehicle.:D
