    Corsair pairs display…..Easily the finest formation I have seen for years at Duxford since Lee Pfoot & Ed Shipley did a similar thing a few years back in 2 P-51’s.

    Sorry, thats more than 2 words, but what the heck!

    The Sea Fury was never going to fly at Legends, always to be static. As it was a warbird (and Damien, I realise what you’re saying about what was over the far side), it was parked on the flightline..

    I had a wonderful time. Got in free of charge (Again!), no traffic to contend with ‘cos i got there early. Had unrestricted access to the flighline, aircraft and Pilots tent throughout the show, Got to fraternise with all the key players and the pilots AND i didnt give a $hite about the people wandering around the aircraft, cos I woz one. Food? Free, of course. As for the commentators, they’re ALL crap…..Just listen to the music (Sorry, the sound of the aircraft I mean.) Want to know anything? Just ask anyone on here – they know EVERYTHING! After the show had finished, spent a very enjoyable hour or two chatting about times past and old mates over a beer, then was driven home by the Mrs avoiding the queues.

    People and spotters, be thankful for what you get….The day may come when some Nimby tries to ban it! There’s an awful lot of people at DX who worked their butts off for YOUR benefit this weekend.

    P.S I didnt have time to post yet more digital pictures on this thread…..Too busy having a great time. Did anyone go to Legends this weekend and not take any pictures?
