FC — yes, it’s the ‘standard’ way of joining the circuit in the US.
Good photos. Was there any obvious reason why they’ve shuffled the aircraft around in Hangar 2 since the other weekend? PE’s coming along very nicely.

Our very own Janie.
That was my point Tony 🙂
Then again, the pilot and the plane might not like the idea of going directly in a straight line. The last time I tried a touch-and-go the plane said ‘Wheee!’ and made for the trees. Frisky beasties these Emeraudes, but lovely with it.
I will be there … assuming I don’t get … ahem, ‘temporarily unsure of my position’ on the way over from Stapleford.
I’m definitely on for March 20th, and I shall try to make the 15th too.
A few more from yesterday.

Alex — certainly. PM me your email address and I’ll email one over.
You can tell it was previoulsy owned by another forumite as there is a cone in one shot. You need to find the “disable cones” button.
And he told me he’d removed all the special modifications too … I’ve decided I’m going to call it the cast-off.
I hereby rename this thread – Engine Baywatch.
Groan 😀
AF — you’re thinking of Old Buckenham aren’t you? I hope you don’t mind me saying this, but ‘the more informed will know where this is’ kind of reinforces Bee Bee’s comments. GA finds it hard enough to get proponents as it is, and admittedly people will only go and watch the planes if they want to but we should tell them where they can see them.
*jumps off soapbox*
TSR.2 changed much since we last saw it?
Not that I saw —

The Swordfish did look good. I might have managed a better picture through one of the other windows but there was a nasty reflection. Exposure was a bit off too … 😉
Thanks chaps 🙂 There are a few more, I’ll try and get around to putting them up later tonight.
Yes, I’m very pleased with the camera.
Oooh! Email sent.
I have to say it is a wonderful likeness!
You’re sailing very close to the wind there!
Happy birthday Peter. Hope you had a good day!
