Shouldn’t be a problem. OSX is UNIX by any other name and Unix runs on Intel boxes. Some tweaking and thats it.

Apple Senior Vice President Phil Schiller addressed the issue of running Windows on Macs, saying there are no plans to sell or support Windows on an Intel-based Mac. “That doesn’t preclude someone from running it on a Mac. They probably will,” he said. “We won’t do anything to preclude that.”
However, Schiller said the company does not plan to let people run Mac OS X on other computer makers’ hardware. “We will not allow running Mac OS X on anything other than an Apple Mac.”

Check out this thread on a graphics forum, its currently 252 posts long, so you might want to skim to the end.

The PC as we know it today will soon be dead, one part gone to the notebook, the other part to the next generation of consoles.

The notebook is a PC. And the PC is not going to lose to consoles, if anything consoles will merge with PCs as you suggested with a Mac version of the XBox2. And highend graphics isnt everything when in comes to gaming.

Its a smart move. Using x86 will finally allow apple to allow its customers to use the best off the shelf hardware available. Its still not certain if OSX will be completely compatable to PC x86, but I can assure you even if apple creates its on proprietary version of x86 architecture, there will be plenty of programmers hacking bridges to normal PC x86. And thats a joke that Mac people would use DirectX which is completey controlled by MS when you have the alternative of using OpenGL which is open to development by the graphics/computer hardware industry.

Im tired of the grainy terrain textures in MS FS series, especially at low altitude. CFS2 has very sharp ground textures for a low spec sim, I dont see why FS cant do that.

How many here think that France and Netherlands rejection of the constitution was a good thing? In my view the EU in the past was simply a club controlled by France and Germany who simply were running things to suit their own interest. Maybe now the EU has a chance to form as a truely democratic organisation. The question is do the smaller EU countrys have the collective will to do it?

Although the whole purpose of a GD forum is for letting off steam and making light conversation, there is a point when it goes to far and people just start posting stuff just to be silly and make attention for themselves. This is called spamming in alot of forums and is often bannable offence. Note I dont suggest that this forum ban for silly content, everyone has the right to get a little silly at times. But to continueally drown out other peoples conversations with sillyness when you arent dirrectly conversing in that conversation is just plain rude. And unfortunatly this spamming can lead to personal attacks, that is harrasment, and I dont think that should be tolerated. Id like to see the webmaster and the mods take a firm stand against spamming and harrasment.

Talk about innocent till proven guilty. They are moving forwards to create a conventional power generation capability.

Thanks for your expert opinion Garry, you can go back to sleep now, we’ll wake you up if they prove guilty buy setting off a nuke in New York or L.A. or somewhere like that.

What Iran decides to do with the spent fuel is chiefly up to the Iranian government and of no consiquence to France.

No s**t its of no consequence to France. When France starts handing out the means to build WMD to hostile nations, thats a kind of nuclear proliferation that cannot be tolerated. If Bush ever decides to take a military stand against Iran, he better do it to France also.

Im wondering why the US cant seem to stand up to Frances role in all of this. France has built nuclear reactors for both Iraq and Iran and the US has done nothing even close as to ask them to stop.
