You have to get Il-2 Fogotten Battles. It is the perfect WW2 flight sim. When Lock-On modern air combat comes out, that will be an awsome jet sim.
Speaking of Rammstein, I think they have potenecial of being a seriously good metal band, but they put all this cheap theatrics in their music like the Nina Hagen type of opera singing interludes. And their guitare riffs are very repetative.
Arthur- I cant believe you put down Tchycovsky as a classical composer. He and Bach are the only two good ones for making good melody. Shostakovich ?? Have you even heard this guy? Abstract classical….no thanks!

When I watch the Ozbournes, I don’t expect them to talk good English
I have the luck of watching the Osbournes in a non-english speaking country, so the language isnt censured. I cant imagine what there is left to watch on that show if you cut out the bad words. I dont know which is funnier, Ozzy saying f**k off all the time, or the subtitles saying largate (go away). Classic line in that show is when Kelly is talking to Ozzy on the phone and says “I cant understand you, it sounds like you have a d**k in your mouth.

Ill admit my spelling is very bad and beyond hope of improvement (Im 38), but I do plan to start writing my posts with MS word and take advantage of its spell check. My computer has been in the shop now for a week so I cant do this yet. I wish AFM would put a spell check feature on this forum for those of us spelling challanged people.

I read about it a book about France and Ive been told that by a person who lived in France. That the the government pays women
to have babys due to a shortage in childbirth rate. I try to dig up more info on it.

In France theyve had to pay women to have babys, not just recently, but since the 30s I think.
I have a hard time believing Japan is that bad considering their consumer goods still dominate. Theyre going to have to restructure their society to make room for a working class again. Not everyone in Japan can expect to be a corperate success anymore as in the past.

– Lack of personal freedoms (eg. internet censorship)
– Brutal repression (eg. Tiananmen Square)
– Lack of democracy (eg. one party state)
– Hugely militaristic society (eg. unusually high % of GDP)
– Propaganda (think of Pravda)
all this does exist in China today

The fact of the matter is that the tianamen square incident was a brutal reaction by a govenment that is paranoid. Do you really think these students were trying to take over the country or break it up? I saw the president of China being interviewed by american tv reporter Mike Wallace. He said that the students of tianamen square had many legitamate grievences that they were protesting, so even he understands what you dont. Do the chineese public think of this as a “neccesary evil”? Ill say to you again that you dont speak for all the chineese people, and I dont trust you as a souce for what the people of China want. The fact is is that the govenment of China is backward and is not doing anything other than allow foreign corperations to use Chineese labor. And you expect people on this forum to applaud your government that is “improving day by day”. Sorry, (except for geforce and alex) your not going to get that kind of respect from people on this forum. I remember before tianamen square, you used to see young chineese student congregate at parks to practice their english with foriegn tourists. You dont see that kind of thing anymore. The people who are in charge of the Chineese government simply dont have the education or experience to handle bussiness and corperate industry. I think the people of China have the ability to become this kind of society right now just as countrys like malasia have modernized. But its not happening. Your condition is a lot like here in Mexico, and they use the same excuses like “the people are happy and content” or “chaos would break out if too much freedoms were given”. Indeed its true, the people of the countryside treat polititians as Gods, and are very proud of this country. Does that mean the Government of Mexico has acted out of the peoples best interest? Id say alot of whats happening now with president Fox´s reforms are long overdue and should not have been waited for. Back in 1968, Mexico hosted the first Olimpic games ever held by a third world nation. The students at UNAM (large university in Mexico City) held huge protests, so the government sent in troops, and a masacre ensued. To this day its not known how many students died, 200 has been estimated. This shamefull bit of history is not viewed as a “neccesary evil” in Mexico.
