Pretty sure the interested parties in this particular Mossie went to see the Caa at Gatwick a couple of summers ago, I guess by seeing the plane up for sale on Platinum would mean things did not go to plan during their meeting ?
Not many complete Mossies left in the world now that could be bought with a plan to get flying without using modern glues and materials, in fact none as all would need both both I guess which leaves it very difficult to see the UK ever seeing a resident Mossie on the G reg.
Bruce your thoughts on seeing a Mossie flying over here one day .
Thats the one not sure of its current colours since restoration?
I am looking for positive proof that this particular Sea Fury is WG599 and so far struggling a bit.
I believe the Tigercat coming to Europe is the ex Mike Bogue, Gary Flanders owned aircraft.
Never seen TFC advertise on their blog regards a job vacancy before oh well first time for everything!
No idea about how much the guys get wage wise but i know there are some classy cars in the car park outside the hanger!
Following some positive feedback looks like i need to find a couple of APs to copy if possible AP1275A & AP4018 Vol 3 does anybody know if these manuals are available or the whereabouts of please?
I would like to nominate VX653 TFCs FB11 Sea Fury first started in 1995 and still a few years off by the looks of it!! 😀

The photo taken in front of the Belfast hanger/gun butts is very good indeed, the lads at TFC have done a great job i wonder who was their paint scheme “Guru”?
Could be a long while before that engine is back in the Fury then!
I have read this thread with great interest and can see both sides of the topic, my opinion is if PV or anybody else can come to an agreement with the museum on a contract to purchase RS700, restore the museums Hurricane XII, and put enough money into the Museums account that secures the long term existance of that museum for future generations and all is done above board to Canadian law i see this as a good deal for all parties.
As part of the sale perhaps painting RS700 in a Canadian squadron Bomber Command scheme would be a good idea? To honour all those crews that flew Mossies and those who gave their lives in doing so?
Also to address the question of the great vastness in Canada and the chances of many Canadians being lucky enough to see Bob Jens Mosquito fly let alone RS700, how about a clause in the contract stating RS700 should return to Alberta at some stage to tour the area giving many other Canadians a chance to see this great plane fly over their state again?

The bomber group that offered to stump up the money to put Sally B into their colours was the 398th BG based at Nuthampstead i believe.
The crew do a great job in keeping her flying no question, but like many i would love to see her in a silver scheme as there are so many cracking examples to choose from.

Could be the ex Iraqi fury that has been for sale at La Ferte what seems a lifetime.
