Great news, well done ( that grin should last at least a week! 🙂 )
September last year, flew the Chippie down to R.F.C. Rendcombe and had a go of this 🙂
Nice to see so many great pics, keep them coming!
Got the Chippie booked, will check the weather.
Plenty of our Chippie ( G-BCSL ) pics here… http://www.theairstrip.co.uk
Enjoy 🙂
That leaves ours out unless we get the decorators in 🙂
Did quite a few jumps from there in 1979/80 and as Janie says its the partying thats the dangerous bit….alcaholic poisoning etc
Did my first freefall with the Red Devils and celebrated with a bottle of Scotch that night and the ******s tied me to the windsock…..but that does not tell you much about the airfield
Propstrike, my head on a swivel as usual ( scan forward, scan at other aircraft ) till formation flying over.
Albert Ross great pics, took our Chippie into R.A.F. Shawbury Dec before last good service on a bad viz day ( they put the landing lights on full ) then went over to Cosford, yet another place where our Chippie based.
Blimey Photobucket usually resizes the pics, sorry 😮
Proplover, As in most air to air pics the pilot ain’t posing for the camera…I am keeping an eye on the other aircrafts position even though I do have a stupid grin on my face ( cos I fly a Chippie I suppose ) 🙂

This shot taken from the other aircraft ( yes WG472 ) on the Tiger Moth Tour last year on our way to Chetwynd then onto R.A.F. Sealand.
Our Chippie G-BCSL ( WG474 )

Went last year a very good turnout. Hope to see you all there this year.
I will be at Leicester on Saturday 20/5/06 in G-BCSL “the red chippie” see you all there.
