Sunday Weather 🙁
Thanks a lot chaps!!, Mr Ross the camera is the Canon 10D, the lens are a combo of Canons 100-400L IS f4.5/5.6, 28-135 IS f3.5/5.6 and the 17-40L f4.
Thank you for your kind words gents. No queues on the way in (08:45) drove straight in, took me about 1 hour to get out, back home for the second half of the football. Was it worth it? I was looking forward to seeing some of the museum exhibits outside but only the Red Arrows Gnat was in the main show area with the Varsity, Andover and Devon behind a very tight fence at the bottom of the field. £15 on the day I suppose is the standard price for an airshow these days, but weather was nice and the display by the Chinook was fantastic so all in all a good day out.

ps, I don’t get such luxuries as a press pass!!

XT874 made a trip to Buntingthorpe on the back of a lorry, but the MOD wanted it scraped so it had to go to Stock. This was all that was left in 1995

From last years RIAT,

XX885 At Alconbury in 1994

Two for the price of one! I think this is a Vega Gull and a Proctor V. I hope someone will put me right!

Nice one DB!
Thanks chaps!

Cheers for your kind comments. I have another picture of the Beech in my camera somewhere, I’ll try to fish it out. The Vulcan is still in bits. The Buccaneer is staying put. It will run again but they need spares as apparently they went missing at Kemble & was damaged in transit to Farnborough. Don’t know who owns it. There will be another Buccaneer at Bruntingthorpe soon (XW544), moving in from Shawbury. the Sea Vixen is awaiting parts and one of the team is looking after it has moved on to look after the mystere.
