Two at least, well known shots.

Wow, based on that listing my photo collection is now worth, at todays exchange rate, approx. NZ$10,450,000.00.:eek:
I’ll have to change my insurance.:rolleyes:
We need a wailing ‘smily’. 🙁 Almost too horrible to look at.

Just came across this thread a bit late, here is a couple of shots of the crowbar in the time capsule TE330 when owned by Don Subritzsky…………………
Currently there are four Mosquitoes under restoration here in NZ, two to be static in Museums and two to airworthy.
Static restorations;
– T-43, NZ2305 (A52-19/A52-1053) at MOTAT in Auckland.
– FB.VI, NZ2383 (HR339) at Ferrymead in Christchurch.
Airworthy restorations;
– T-43, NZ2308 (A52-20/A52-1054), under restoration by Glynn Powell for Glynn Powell.
– FB.26, KA114 under restoration at Avspecs, Auckland for Jerry Yagen.
There is also FB.VI NZ2336 (TE910) stored in time capsule condition with John Smith in Mapua.
Could this photo that I have in my collection be of EE311?
On the back it has a typed label which reads…………..
“Meteor III. Arctic Trials at Edminton, Canada. January and February, 1946.”

Not Afro-Carribean but in the spirit of the thread.

Whilst we are on the subject of aircraft names, why on earth did the Canadians call the B-18 the Digby, it’s got to be one of the worst combat aircraft names ever?:rolleyes:
When I saw this thread I instantly thought of the Potez 75.
For ugly aircraft, here’s a good place to start…………….

Is this the previously mentioned Mig-23 or a Jaguar without wings?

Apologies if this is not the “accepted” way of posting Google earth images.
