1MAN,
How can you be so naive?
Syria blames US for Iraq ‘infiltrators’
‘Syrian ambassador Fayssal Mekdad told the United Nations his country had deployed thousands of soldiers in an effort to secure the lengthy desert border and had intercepted many attempted infiltrators’
http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2005/09/24/1467522.htm
Now ask yourself how many of those infiltrators got through to Iraq? Ask yourself where those infiltrators are doing in Iraq? Ask yourself how many are Syrian nationals? How can you be so naive as to think that no Syrian or Iranian national has not been caught involved in the fighting or supply of weapons in Iraq?

Syrian nationals fighting in Iraq have been captured by Coalition forces.

UNMOVIC were still finding and destroying Iraqi chemical munitions even in the run up to the invasion of Iraq. Mustard gas was sill being destroyed right up until March 2003! The Iraqi’s weren’t helping themselves by their actions. Even Saddam admitted that his stance on WMD was one of bluff due to the likes of the Iranian regime on his borders.
This bluff and the obstacles put in place by the Iraqis led many to believe that Iraq still had a working cache of WMD. UNMOVIC and UNSCOM had over the years destroyed thousands of tonnes of Iraqi WMD. The continued stalling and denying of some locations for inspection resulted in distrust with the result that Iraq was still hiding a cache of useable WMD.
Even members of the Iraqi Republican Guard who were interviewed post invasion believed that they would be issued with a cache of WMD in an attempt to halt the invasion.
February 2003
‘An UNMOVIC chemical team began the process of destroying 10 155mm artillery shells and four plastic containers filled with mustard gas at Al Mutanna, approximately 140 km northwest of Baghdad.’

Let me be more clear, NOT 1 Syrian/Iranian Fighter has been show, with pictures and audio proving they (Farsi/Syriac) are Syrian/Irainian, all we see hear, is U.S. and (puppet) Iraqi Gov officials saying there are Syrian/Irainians in Iraq, the Irainian officials arrested were just that, Irainian officials not fighters, I remember that story, btw the U.S. aloud Iran to have officials there to “HELP” with some of the reconstruction, so thier capture means nothing but dis-info from U.S. as far as I see it, remember it wasn’t until the late 90’s that the U.S. finaly addmitted the Gulf Of Tonkin incedent DIDN’T happen, that caused the Vietnam War, which shows the U.S. has a LONG history of dis-information, so this should help you understand that the whole war is a lie, the infaltraitors coming in from Syria/Iran is a lie, and when I say infaltraitors, I’m talking about what the U.S. is implying, Syrian/Iranian Government SENT infiltraitors, not civilians who are zelos to help the Iraqs fight the U.S.,(which I have not found any evidence of anyway)
From what I read there is no APG-68, I’ve only seen APG-93 v 1-3 APG-70/77/79/80 where did you read this?
Also the APG-77 (F-22) can track a 3m^2 target at 240km/149mi
so the Su-35BM’s radar of 400km/250mi is something to see.
Opps, I ment APG-63 not 93.
Major Anatoli Schicharjow announces something new which is still kept secret for the victory parade on may the 9th.
http://de.rian.ru/society/20080426/105976023.html (in german)
well maybe just a spectacular show, but as we all like to speculate, Anatoli Schicharjow is the chief of the long range bomber fleet. Could a black project exist ? Everybody says PAK-FA will fly the first time in 2009, and Su-47 and Mig 1.44 are no secret projects. The only project I know which at some time existed was the T-60 – that would be a huge surprise. Perhaps they are presenting the kh-101/102 for the first time ? what do you think ?
KH-101 was already show in CombatAircraft.
1MAN,
Explain why the IAEA are still very much interested in the site? If it is non-nuclear why has the IAEA taken so much interest in the images revealed by the CIA? Do you not think that the North Koreans have some explaining to do as to the evidence that a nuclear scientist was in Syria.
For the same reason they went into Iraq, and looked into Iran, they assume the U.S. is not lying as usual.
Do you not think that the US will provide evidence to the U.N. of visits by NK nuclear scientists to Syria in relation to this project? What will the NK explanation be? The commercial sat imagery is available to anyone wishing to buy it. ISIS did it and so can the U.N. and IAEA. Again the question still arises as to why the Syrians undertook a massive clean up of an ‘unused military warehouse’?
Why haven’t ISIS blown the cover on your conspiracy theory?
For the same reason they haven’t blow the story that not 1 Syrian/Iranian fighter has EVER been caught in Iraq, for the same reason as to show not 1 Iraqi truck carring WMD’s left to Syria before the bombing.[quote]
Or maybe there waiting several hundred years till the radiation drops away… foiled again by them meddling kids tsk tsk Syria.
That was not my quote, when I was quoting I must have pressed the wrong button and put “TEEJ’s” quote with my post.
Thanks Sean for the info on the SA-6 site.
1MAN,
They are clearly taken at different times of the day and from different perspectives and therefore have different shadows. Has it not crossed your mind that the images are from commercial imagery and sharpened up? The Syrian U.S. Ambassador stated that he was shown commercial satellite images of the site.
It doesn’t matter that it was at different times, there are things missing in the photos, the “shadow” on the top photo IS NOT REAL, the top photo “corrisponds” to the CGI image that the L.A.Times was given, but it doesn’t corispond to the botom photo, because the botom photo is a photo of a REAL building that was bombed the top photo is not a real building.
The colour images is from a GCI video presentation. It is a representation. It was never put forward as a real-time satellite image.
The strike video will be in Israeli hands. It was more than likely an LGB attack and the video would be from that. In years to come the Israeli’s might possibly release it. At that resolution it won’t show anything else but what you can see in the black and white images – a rectangular building.
Just as you say about the Syrians, if the Isrealies don’t have anything to hide they would have show the LGB images and any realtime sat images (if they have that) as they did in thier 2005 bombings in Isreal, oh you forgot they showed LGB images back in 05 when the were bombing the Palistineans.
Again, rambling non-sense in your last question. If the Syrians had nothing to hide then they would have invited the IAEA and journalists in within days of the bombing. Remember they did this when the Ayn Shabab site was struck back in 2003? What did the Syrians do this time? They took journalists to a completely random site and claimed that this was the site that the Israeli’s had bombed.
If the building was just an innocent ‘warehouse’ then why didn’t they take the journalists directly there? Why did the Syrians invest a lot of money and time into sanatising the site and builiding a new building directly on top of the original building site? Why didn’t the Syrians show images of the destroyed warehouse before they demolished it? An unused military site with a warehouse on it isn’t exactly going to breach Syrian national security, now is it?
I don’t know why they haven’t alowed the IAEA there, It was a military building of some sort as they said, just not a nuke plant, why did the pictures from the L.A.Time show that N.Korea’s nuke plant doesn’t look that?? who has someting to hide here:confused:
That would be impossible because if it was anuke site, then everything the U.S. was saying about Syria in 2000 “Axis of Evil” would be true AND the U.S./Isreal would be watching with sats to make sure they film any thing/s moving to or from the bombed out site. I noticed a lot of things from people like you, if this was a U.S./Isreali ally that got bombed by Syria you would have pointed out the the west would be watching those areas after they were bombed to make sure nothing was being removed/added to trick the IAEA, but scince it’s Syria you guys always have amnesia. [quote]
Hold up, if an Astronomer was to tell you the Sun revolves around the earth, which you know to be untrue, you would still take his word for everything else he spouts? Because that is how absurd Veniks trash is – you got some real faith there in a known story teller…
pLease feel free to tell show me indetail, how what he says is soo outlandish that he should’nt be listened to at all, if that the case than England can also be ingrored after all, British soilders were caught red handed dressing like Iraq’s and trying to lant bombs to kill Iraq’s back in 2005.;) π
Funny that, most people think the Afghans smashed the Soviets, how many Soviet troops died compared to how many coalition troops have died…. heres a quick rundown to remind you:
The total irrecoverable personnel losses of the Soviet Armed Forces, frontier and internal security troops came to 14,453. Soviet Army formations, units and HQ elements lost 13,833, KGB sub-units lost 572, MVD formations lost 28 and other ministries and departments lost 20 men. During this period 417 servicemen were missing in action or taken prisoner; 119 of these were later freed, of whom 97 returned to the USSR and 22 went to other countries.
There were 469,685 sick and wounded, of whom 53,753 or 11.44 percent, were wounded, injured or sustained concussion and 415,932 (88.56 percent) fell sick. A high proportion of casualties were those who fell ill. This was because of local climatic and sanitary conditions, which were such that acute infections spread rapidly among the troops. There were 115,308 cases of infectious hepatitis, 31,080 of typhoid fever and 140,665 of other diseases.
yep what a ‘smashing’ success 1Man…
My research says 11,381 Soviets K.I.A. just under 36,000 W.I.A. and over 1.1 Million dead Afgahns, while U.S. has not Fully invaded Afgahn only parts of the country, and contrary to popular beliefe Taliban has/is making a comeback, and over the next 2 years U.S. will have to make a major desicion to deploy at these another 10,000 troops, btw if this was the U.S. we are talking about, you your self would have pointed out that “The U.S. invation of the 80’s was a total invation and the Russian is not so the 2 invations can’t be compaired” but scince it’s Russia were talking about all of a sudden you have a total mind failer!!!:D π π π
1MAN
Martinez is too lazy to do his own research, so like a child he simply asks stupid questions – ‘How good was EID?’, ‘Tell me how many MiGs COMBAT TREE helped shoot down’, ‘Where have all the MiGs gone?’, etc. You are a bit like that, too (‘Show me some sources!’, ‘I want to see photos!’).
Yes I want to see sources because I can say that the U.S. lied/exagerated MANY times about Russia’s so called weakness over the years, but many will reply by saying, I’m making it up and they want sources, well then I wany sources too, people assume the U.S. is telling the truth about many things from my research in the last 9 1/2 years I have found that to be untrue, so from now on I’m demanding proof, and there’s nothing wrong with that, the only reason people are complaining is because we are doing the UNTHINKABLE, (questioning the U.S.’s supieriority and truthfullness)
You reckon that for America to get any advantage out of flying a MiG-29 or a Su-27, it would have to be the latest model since a great deal has changed. That’s a totally flawed argument that, like Martinez, exposes you as someone who does not know the first thing about US FME – either its scope or its purpose.
please show us how, last time I checked a nation flying outdated planes ALWAYS gets wooped.
And, as with Martinez, just because someone stops responding to your stupid, ignorant questions and opinions, it doesn’t mean that they have conceded that you are correct. Frankly, the other thing that you and he have done a good job of is reminding me why I stopped posting to forums and newsgroups such as this many, many years ago, and why I won’t be doing so again the future!
Maybe you and Martinez can find a guy on the internet called Venik? You’d all get along well with him!
The only reason people don’t like him is because of all of those reports about downed NATO planes, other than that his reporting is correct, I haven’t been on his site in over 4 years, but just to let you know there are many western sources that have also show nato lost over 30 planes “Forrien Affairs” 1999 reports is one of them, I’ll try and find the issues but it may take sometime, anyways most of my sources I read are not even Venik.
Thanks for the info Ken
It sounds a lot of effort on behalf of the Soviets in reconverting from tanker to bomber?
I have always wondered how the Russianβs (especially their Afghan War vets) must have viewed the American invasion of Afghanistan and their apparent ease of smashing the Taliban?
But with many years on β I wonder what these same Russian veterans must be thinking know?
Pity?Regards
Pioneer
Soviets smashed the whole country U.S. only parts of the country, and if you’ve been looking on the news, taliban has been making a come back in the last 3 years, and this summer is schedualled to be the worst for U.S./coalition forces in that nation, according to. CNN 2 days ago.;)
With all the customization it can’t be less than 80-85 mil per piece. MKI itself is about 62 mil with support and spares.
What I read in AirForce Monthly/CombatAirCraft is that the MKI’S were around $25-$30 Million, can you give my a source.
Martinez,
Watching you post is like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Are you and 1MAN related? No doubt it will all be a conspiracy to you when the U.S. declassifies the info in the future!
TJ
What does my post and his have in common, all I was proving is having baseline Su-27/MiG-29 wont lead to any advantage for U.S. against Russia in my opinon, his posts are talking about something different.:D

Can’t wait. In fact we all can’t wait!
Have you actually read the responses after the article?
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/babylonbeyond/2008/04/syria-more-ques.html
Go back and play the first video of Syrian Ambassador to U.S., Imad Moustapha
“3 Israeli jet fighters penetrated deep into Syrian airspace and bombarded a military target in Syria. By the way those three jet fighters were US made…….”
This is the same target that the Syrians refer to in the desert that had no air defences or security fences etc. Even the Syrians admit that the building was bombed.
TJ
What I was saying is a building was bombed but it was not a Nuke plant.
You posted the article here it is: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/babylonbeyond/2008/04/syria-more-ques.html now look at the pic at the top of this thread, notice the top pic corisponds to the L.A. Times CGI pic, but the bottom pic doesn’t, this is WHY they couldn’t show a side view of the pic because one could easily tell it was fake, so they had to only show a:
1. “pefect top view”
2. make sure it was only in black&white
3. Also the video of the bombing was not shown to the public because it would show that it was different than the top picture.
4. Notice that the shadow is FAKE it’s not natural, but CGI shaded in.
5. On the bottom pic notice there’s some sort of building (probably a trailer house/building) to the top left, but in the top pic it isn’t there.
6. If all this was true, the U.S. would have also used this oportunaty to say,” This nuke building, aslo proves that our reports in 04/05 that Iraq moved thier WMD’s to Syria are correct”
Quote sensibly, please
Sorry but L.A.Times already exposed the bombing as a fraud the reason the pictures are ion Black and White is because the bottom pic is a real building that was destroyed but the top pic is a photoshop, I’ll post the link latter on, they Isreal/U.S. had to keep it black and white because the color pic clearly shows it’s a photoshop, U.S. has had color sat imaging for a longtime, and all of a sudden this is black and white, HA!! anyways when I post the link you’ll understand.
It’s interesting that so many people doubt that the US DoD would either have the inclination to exploit the MiG-29 and Su-27, or the technical wherewithal to make them flyable and keep them that way. Those individuals who argue this point clearly have no understanding of the foreign military exploitation process, or the scale of America’s ongoing FME activities.
2) Technical FME is an ongoing process that takes a great deal of time, and requires a flying programme (vice just a static programme) to be truly useful. Although the US has borrowed Flankers and Fulcrums for brief exploitation at various points over the years, and has visited foreign users of these aircraft, there is no substitute for owning examples and exploiting them over a period of a number years. It is a fact that the USAF conducted a technical exploitation programme of the MiG-21 that ran almost continuously for more than 20 years. Why some people think that there would be any less effort put into exploiting the Flanker and Fulcrum is beyond me.
Having baseline Su-27/MiG-29’s mean nothing so I don’t understand why you “THINK” it’s a big deal, there are such things as upgrades that will change the situation in a war.
3) Asides from the technical exploitation of these aircraft, there is also a pressing need for tactical exploitations. Again, this is an ongoing programme which, if history is anything to go by, involves exposing the Flankers and Fulcrums to Aggressor, FWIC and OT&E aircrews. It seems very likely that a small handful of IPs in these units also actually fly the assets. The importance of this kind of exposure cannot be over rated. Like the technical exploitation programme, tactical exploitations take a long time (the MiG-23 tactical exploitation took America almost 10 years, and it took took at least two years to be able to filter the results of the first exploitations down to the frontline fighter squadrons) and are extremely valuable. With many USAF fighter squadrons today using the Su-27 with AA-10Cs as its baseline Red Air simulator, the desire to have the best information on the Flanker is stronger than ever
If Russia uses baseline Su-27 in a war against the US then yes U.S. will have all the advantage, but you do know the U.S. knows Russia would upgrade them, so having the knowlege of these planes doesn’t mean much against Russia, but it does mean much against the semi3rd world nations that have these Su-27 that don’t have the cababilites to upgrade them.
Oh, and nice evidence you got there, TEEJ. I wonder if 1MAN will come back and say it’s a fake?!
Why would I, all I was saying is I haven’t read/seen any info saying U.S had S-300s
